I agree it's kind of cheesy. It's obviously a set and not a real dorm or something. The party hats are kind of lame. I've actually played spin the bottle before and I doubt the bottle would spin very well on that shag carpet. It also does have an eastern European feel to it, and you can see an electrical outlet in one of the photos and it doesn't look like an American outlet.
