In the end it is worthless to argue this. I feel, based only on what I know now, that Zimmerman pursued this guy, confronted him and ended up shooting him.

You think he is a hero.

I doubt we will change each other's minds so we might as well just call it good wait until the case plays out. Once all the evidence is public maybe I will change my mind.

Big time hero! Followed specious character who fit the profile of neighborhood burglar despite the fact he was out-sized.
I would've moved out from that area long time ago but this guy thought he could make difference and make it better for everyone else. Hats off to true American hero!

what was actually said matters. The 911 dispatcher cannot tell him what to do. He was part of neighborhood watch and was following the guy and telling 911 what was going on. He was doing his job as neighborhood watch. if the guy broke into a house, he would have been able to witness it and report it.

Ive actually been in neighborhood watches. You are told to do nothing and call the police. If the police say it once they say 100 x times.

The outcry in this incident was that there was deemed to be no need to investigate further, when there really really seemed to be a need to investigate further.

Now that that is happening, I feel better. I hope there are NO more leaks to media, and that it comes to trial quickly. They already need to move the trial to Pluto to avoid a tainted jury pool.

I to have served in a neighborhood watch and we were instructed not to confront but to follow any strange person in the neighborhood until they left the neighborhood and not to confront but to call 911 if we witnessed an actual crime being committed or considered the person's actions to be questionable/suspicious. well in atlanta we were told just call the police. To follow someone its asking for someone to be put in possible harms way. And if the police told you to do that ,they could be held liable. if god forbid you were hurt or killed.

Like caged animal? He wasn't caged at all. Zimmerman was 5 inches shorter and sure didn't look like creepy stalker. He was a watch captain for fucks sake. In my local news yesterday was a dude sentanced for the shooting death of a toddler. He admitted he shot the gun, but he was trying to kill the rival gang member in the minivan. So he apologized for killing the toddler, saying he's no angel but he's not the monster people think he is..

Okee dokee. He got 40 years. Not sure why not life, guess because he has bad aim.

thats crazy but it happens. maybe the guy shot at him some point in time earlier. there was a guy in new york gangster a guy walked up and shot him dead while he was holding his baby.

Sounds like Martin must have been on top of Zimmerman.

Exactly. The guy that was running was a decoy steering Zimmerman, with the real Trayvon hiding behind a car until Zimmerman got close enough. They wanted to steal his gun, but the plan backfired (no pun intended). Nobody even cares about the other decoy guy, they just want to portray Zimmerman as a monster when all he was doing was harmlessly chasing niggas around with his gun in an area that has had a string of recent robberies. These niggas obviously wanted that gun, but the media has spun this story so much that nobody is paying attention to that.
