Diablo 3 players, what level are you now?

So far I have been exploring every inch of space I can. I am level 30. Barbarian.

Have you achieved a higher level? Some of this shit is hard and I die a few times.

Chime in if you play and how it's going? Also, how does multiplayer work? It asks me to open the game to the "public"... does it fuck my game up if I do that?

Also, My balls are freshly shaven.

I have a level 30 Monk in Hardcore - no death obviously. I only play hardcore with a small group of buddies- we have been doing it forever.

Game is amazing. Very much well worth the wait.

Awesome to hear it. So how does it work multi? You have been going since day one with people? I have been playing with on of the NPCs by my side. What happenes if I make the game public? Any benefits?

Level 15 witchdoctor. Haven't tried the multiplayer yet. I like the game more and more each level, I just can't find the time to really get into it hardcore.

I think my Barb is lvl 34 right now, making the game public makes it so other people can drop in and help you out.

It makes the monsters stronger when they drop in though.

Is the loots better? I notice myself catching loot, although good isn't great for my level. Maybe exploring took me down a few notches or something. I am getting 20-something loot... yellows and blues.

Fuck the auction house. At least from what I see it is ridiculously overpriced for now.

Graphics < Game play experience.

Apparently you have not one clue.

Super Mario Brothers, still rated as one of the best game plays on the planet... because of what? The cutting edge graphics? Or the fun? Zelda?

Not trying to make Diablo 3 into something extraordinary, but it is fun and it certainly beats the fuck out of D2 graphics wise.

This is why I stopped playing games like the franchise Final Fantasy, each game sucks up days and days of time.
I beat 7. 8, 9, and 10 (first part) and called it quits. Played Diablo 2 and some other similar games but just too much.

Have not downloaded it, not tried it... Usually I choose mages, or something similar.
The only game I play from a certain time is World of tanks.
http://worldoftanks.com/ - They launched french tanks updates about month and a half ago and it's awesome. Soon they will launch the World Of WarAirplanes....

Lv 37 wizard. And a bunch of lower level characters. Died 3 times do far, been pretty damn easy. The key is using good gems in socketed items ;)

Bought it this morning, have a level 15 barbarian and a level 10 demonhunter.

I think I'm sticking with the barbarian after a looooong time playing healer classes on WoW, EQ and CoH.

Sadly, only a level 11 Barbarian here. We are moving back to LA, and have been packing like crazy over the past few weeks, while dealing with many other things for the move. Once we are moved in a week. it is GAME ON!!!

Level 29 Barbarian,

Multiplayer really doesn't work any differently than the single player, its kind of like having companions. The mobs get harder with each player added. All your loot is still yours, no loot stealing possible. The only thing that pisses me off is you get guys in there who are just there to kill the boss and get the loot and get out, so they skip through the dialogue and it skips it for everyone in the party. I;ve just decided to play through on single player so i can get the full story then ill play more multiplayer after that.

Well, diablo ain't a MMORPG. It's singleplayer or coop, but no moorpg here.
I still enjoy quake1 and DiabloII and also plays, very rare, some cbm64 games to revisit youth. Graphics ain't everything. Diablo3 looks ok, could have look a little less than wow imo, but I like it.

To answer the question, lvl32. Just finished my first runthrough.
Except for the first boss, I took them all down on first try. That was a tiny bit dissapointing.
But let's hope Nightmare is more challenging

I hate the drops btw. Except for one thing, this game has only dropped shit on me.

I usually buy a new computer everytime Blizzard releases a new Diablo game. Couldn't wait this time...

I'm holding off buying the game for the expansion and then the 1.04 patch. Should only take about four years. Diablo II did not become a real game until Lord of Destruction and patch 1.04 were released.

I'll wait for that - or not play it at all. No big loss if I don't. Blizzard takes more time to make patches than most companies take to make games.

I think RockStar has superceded Blizzard by a large margin and - for the first time ever - I feel no need to buy a Blizzard game. I'll pick DIII up when they release the "Game of the Year" edition of DIII. Maybe.

I WILL be checking out the beta of Torchlight 2 this weekend, though.

:tongue better late than never

lvl 2 Monk, as I just bought the damn game.

Big fan of dungeon hacks, though. I'm digging it, so far.

You fuckers still playing or what?
