G00gle Adw0rds and P0rn

I've been seeing lots of campaigns running for porn sites and review sites. I thought this wasn't allowed? How do they all get live? This is far too rich for my status to be spending ANY money for ANY traffic at all but was just curious how they got thru since I thought this was not allowed. Did they change something?

It's always been allowed as far as I know..

We used to use it for about 3-4 years back in the early to mid 2000's, at first it seemed worth it, but over time our sales results dropped and the prices seemed to go up, so we stopped using them. (Some of the words were going at ridiculous prices, not sure what it is like now for adult price-wise.... I can only imagine).

It is not allowed for adsense though.

ah ok, so this is for paysites for the most part then. I was wondering if adsense had them. Thanks for the feedback. Like I said, I cant even make an affiliate sale a day let alone spend at a rate of prob .50 - 2.00 click if even allowed. I'd be homeless if tried prob.

I had an adult related social site and $100 free in adwords from the server. My first layout didn't pass inspection. I had to redo some photos to make them more tame to get passed. Terms and conditions says no porn. There is an adult themed section though. It seemed to me it was the old "we know it when we see it" thing.
What sucks is I have $200 dollars in free adwords but I only have adult sites...

i just took a looksie and it seems quirky (and sporadic), sometimes showing up, sometimes not.. but turn off safe search and try some tamer niches like foot fetish or whatever..

When we used to use them the ads were usually cleared about 75-80% of the time.... but that was a long time ago.. they may have tightened their reins since then.. If i am remembering correctly, i think a lot of the time they were rejected on the wording we used, not on the site itself.

This was a few months ago. I guess its worth a try with any site but use promo bucks or you'll have unused money sitting there in case they reject it.

I'm really confused. Why can I buy adwords for "interracial sex" but I can't sell adsense on an interracial site?

Exactly. Plus Adsense is beeyotch in terms of rotating out high paying ads.

I remember once years ago getting an ad rejected because I had "Cum" in it - I was trying to promote a review of CumTV.Com.... But no good.

I used adwords at one point for years to sell adult toys.

Was awesome at first and then conversions went down as cost per click went up.

I made $43 in affiliate sales from my free $100 voucher. That's a new game for me though, some here would have known how to turn it in to $1000

Adwords works for us, whereas we have never found any other traffic we bought convert.
