a message popped up on the dash.. 'oil change/service'.

I had onstar call the dealer, let them know I was dropping the car off...

the dealer gave me a ride home.

dropped the car off at my place about an hour and 1/2 later.... no charge.

this is the kind of treatment that builds customer loyalty, for me anyway..

Had my BMW towed to my house and then to dealership just to change battery. All free.

Mercedes is even better. Drop your car off at the airport with them and while your out of town they do a complete inspection, oil change, and detail it.

What you didn't mention is your monthly payment. Why I drive paid for's.. And AAA. Also try getting out of that "oops" with that onstar. The more advanced cars get the the older I buy.

and why would I? if you can't afford a caddy that's on you... not my concern at all. I do have AAA as well

lots of effort on your end though... did have the caddy carried from the mountains once, dropped at the dealer. picked the car up next day

I'm buying my wife a new Cadillac next week. I gave her the choice of a BMW or Caddie, she chose Caddie. She wants a little more metal around her here in Miami. Actually a bulldozer would be best with the drivers we have. Caddies have that good American thunk when you close the door. I like that.

bte I went and priced out the 750l the other day... be about 40k over the caddy price... bwm: 120K, caddy $75K. I'm happy with the caddys

I have had a caddy since 2001 and the service is always top notch at Cadillac dealers. If your car has to be there for more than 3 hours they usually give you a loaner which can be anything on the new lot or high end used. One time we got a 2011 SRT8 Charger to use over the weekend.

The Charger had lots of power and sounded awesome. The interior was pretty nice as well but I am sticking with Cadillac for the foreseeable future. My new car later this summer will be a CTS-V Wagon since my scooter will go in the trunk of the sedan. We have a SRX right now, It is our second one and have had 4 Deville DHS's. We tried a new DTS but I can't get in it easily.

Mercedes is notorious for having terrible support.

I've had a few, and although they are quality.. There are always issues with parts breaking down.. Its he'll finding people outside the dealership to work on them and the parts are insanely expensive.

love the cts v wagon for sure... check out the xts comming out this week, had the 2002 dts and loved, passed on the srx for a gmc arcadia. get that serviced at the caddy dealer as well
