Actually, there were many in the industry who caught wind of the Mr.Marcus thing way before it was reported. They tried to keep it under wraps for as long as they could but when the break out became more widespread than originally anticipated, they had to make the official announcement. Her blog announcement was right at the time, industry officials became aware of what happened with Mr.Marcus.
