Elevated X CMS adds automatic software update feature - GoFuckYourself.com

We are happy to announce the addition of an automatic software update system to our industry-leading content management system (CMS) software for adult websites.

Making good on our long standing promise to keep our customers up to date, this new Elevated X CMS update system automatically updates CMS product installations to include the latest bug fixes, security fixes and performance Improvements. CMS customers will also be able to access new plug-ins and add-ons anytime new features and functionality are added to the CMS.

The impact of this for our customers is huge, especially with security being so important and the number of hacking incidents on the rise. From now on, anyone using the latest version of our CMS can take advantage of improvements without requesting an update to their software. Pay site owners can schedule software updates to only happen at a specific time of the day, based on business hours or site traffic.

Our multi-channel update system will make updates available each month, with a special "Security" channel that only provides updates anytime a security issue has been discovered within the software. All updates are cryptographically secure.

Existing Elevated X customers interested in being upgraded to use this system may request to have it setup for free by submitting a support ticket.

There IS a photo cropper inside the CMS. If you need help with where it is or how to use it shoot me an email or submit a support ticket and request instructions or a 1 on 1 walkthrough.

BTW the image rotation feature you suggested is being coded and will be included in the software shortly

Hi AJ,

This would be great. However, I was just quoted an upgrade fee of another $500 on ticket number Ticket: #GVO-242-93455. I also asked for some help on the mobile tour and all I got was the response on the up sell.

The update mentioned in this post is available to you and all of our customers.

Unfortunately with all software there reaches a point in time where old versions simply become outdated and new features are no longer backwards compatible. In your case you have a 5+ year old version of our CMS, one we have not offered for sale since before 2008.

The $500 you were quoted was not an upsell. This upgrade fee is charged to cover the time involved for our staff to manually update all of your files, update settings and do the work of batch processing all of your content so that content links get updated, thumbnails and preview images get resized to fit the new version's template layouts, etc. as well as any testing and fixes needed to make sure everything works properly for you with the new product version. We do this to ensure that nothing breaks in the process and your existing sites don't have any downtime.

I hope this helps clarify things a bit.
