Several killed after South African police open fire on striking miners
  Police opened fire with automatic weapons on a group of men who burst out from behind a vehicle. Reuters television footage showed at least seven bodies lying on the ground. South Africa?s SAPA news agency said one of its reporters had counted 18 bodies. Video

On Sunday, a crowd killed two security guards after setting their car ablaze, authorities said. By Monday, angry mobs killed two other workers and overpowered police, killing two officers, officials said. Officers opened fire that day, killing three, police said.

not much has changed since i lived over there then apart from it used to be white police officers killing black people, Now its black police officers killing black people.
You guys think the US police are bad ? Iv seen some shit while i lived over in SA for 17 years |

I have a good friend who's father used to work in the mines in upstate PA.
It's hard work and it ended up killing the man from subsequent lung disease. Those dead bodies you see in these pictures are those of others who did the same. On this side of the ocean, the teabaggers would have us believe that folks such as these are greedy, overpaid union types. I'm more inclined to view them as men of modest means who are willing to risk anything and everything to avoid poverty. The financial sector here and abroad would do well to pay heed.
