I was away in Japan for a few weeks, and while I was away, my new ADG spokesmodel, Kila Sakuragi, attended the return of Hot Import Nights to Northern California last Saturday Night at the San Mateo County Fairgrounds.

By all reports it was a great show...and Kila, who had her own booth, turned quite a few heads:

Oh yeah, I was told, there were cars there too...

Still getting over jetlag from Japan, but hope to sort out some pix and vidz by next weekend from that trip and share a few stories from the land of the Rising Yen.

Tokyo was a blast, as was the rest of Japan. I've been super busy since returning, and jetlag coming back really kicked my ass, but I haven't felt this relaxed in years...

I barely survived Shinjuku in August, I don't know if I could have handled Bangkok.

Next Asia trip will definitely have to include Bangkok. Are you planning to be an Ex-Pat there forever? (Not that there's anything wrong with that).

Kila is headed off to Burning Man today (should be some good pix from that when she gets back in a few weeks)...meanwhile, I need to get my ass into high gear on my site, etc.

I can't say I'll "forever" anything, but I don't see myself living back in the States any time soon. There is a lot that would have to change before I would pack it all up and move back to the USA.

More like move fast...I love to visit Asia, and lived/traveled there for over 10+ years (if you count Hawaii for 5 years), plus I just did 2 more weeks in Japan, and while I love to visit all over Asia, my roots are still firmly planted here in the Bay Area.

This trip was mostly about family (my Mother In Law recently passed away, so my wife and I attended her burial ceremony). I was able to spend quite a bit of time in Tokyo (Shinjuku, Shibuya, Ebisu, Roppongi, Ginza, Harajuku), and then travelled south from there (Nagoya, Okayama, Osaka, Kobe, Kyoto, Hiroshima, and my wife's hometown).
