Billing Question: Advice Needed

I am setting up a dozen or so new pay sites. It's been 8 years since I've had to do this, so I have some questions:

1) What's the best solution here? NATS + CCBill still?
2) Do I have to pay $750 per site with CCBill still?
3) Any alternatives to the $750/site, even if the percentages are higher that I have to pay for processing?
4) I paid the $750 Visa bullshit with one site already .. do I just need to do that once, or is it PER SITE? Maybe I'm just misunderstanding that part.

You can probably see where I am going with this: I want to pay as little as possible PER SITE for processing.

Er, my option looks like NATS + Payze, actually, not NATS + CCBill. Is THAT right? I'm so awful at keeping up with the processing side.

Personally, NATS + Epoch as primary and CCBill secondary and of course the alternates like phone and text.

LOL, the site's been up for 15 years, it's just getting split into categories now. Thanks for the tip, though.

zombaio.com?
I don't think they have any startup costs and you can get their redpass mastercard and withdraw your earnings directly from an atm.

Then why were you looking for programmer work a couple of days ago if you've been in the paysite business for 15 years?

No offense, but judging by the questions you ask about billing, it sounds like you have no idea what youre doing.

Are you kidding? I assume you're trolling, right? I don't know you, so I'm just going to chalk it up to fake nick. You obviously didn't even read that last thread.

You probably saw the thread where I sold my Viper and went "OH MY GOD, HE'S ON FOOD STAMPS" .. yes?

3) At http://www.zombaio.com we do not charge the $750 fee and easy to use with both NATS and MPA3

You process under an umbrella ISPS or something? We've always just had the single site, so making lots of little baby sites (a network, for the first time) is new territory for us. From my convo with Spannow today, it seems like we're all buttoned up with the single $750 fee that we've been paying every year. Looks like we can just "go wide" without too much of an issue.

The good news is our small sales amounts fit into the smallest NATS tier, so it's all kinds of savings across the board.

We literally have the perfect situation: we get to try something new with almost no cost outside of my time in programming and design. Exciting times.

I would not split and I'd priotize Epoch, if what is happening in Euroland also transfers to the US then that is the best advice.

If you are using NATS you can add Zombaio to your cascade always good to have a back up.

What do you mean you would not split? Meaning, don't split the site up? That's something we've already decided to try. The members get 15 fucking YEARS of content (weekly updates, over 700 sets) for a measly $20. It's an excellent value. I don't think scaling it down to 2 years on the main site is going to cause much complaining ... but that's why we're trying it, to see.

It's better than sitting on our asses and watching the checks get smaller every month, which is what 90% of the industry is trying.

Maybe we'll just fail more slowly .. I'd be happy enough with that.

I've heard good things about Payze, would like to hear about more programs using them.

Right now the best setup imo is CCBill + NATS + Webmasterchecks

don't hear a ton about Epoch much anymore other than Rands occasional posts here, but Zombaio is still around and its been 4-5 years by now and they should be mentioned

All I'm saying is there are new regs. in the UK and potentially will spread to the EU and then the USA. Epoch went the extra mile and kept me in business.

You can probably see where I am going with this: I want to pay as little as possible PER SITE for processing.
Regarding 2,3 and 4. It is a yearly fee which is $750 the first year (I think) then is less each year after with CCBill. And it is per merchant account, not per site.

Now you say NATS so you have current affiliates or expect to get some. So I highly recommend you at least talk with this guy Marco from sliiing.com. Here is what I recommend you do:

Get a sliiing account and pay the $750 for CCBill (maybe you already did) which is good for every site under that account. Also signup for zombaio which I think is still free to get started.

Then, put CCBill as your primary (If you have the affiliates to justify doing so) and if ccbill fails it redirects back to a failed landing page on your server which then gives them the option to pay via zombaio. This is necessary because sliiing can then track that sale and give the affiliate the credit.

Basically, sliiing will track any sale, to any processor, and displays for you and the affiliate in an easy to follow merchant and affiliate login page. CCBill still pays the affiliates, you pay the affiliates on other sales. Affiliates will always signup with CCBill affiliate code and is the only code they will ever need.

Hope that helps you a bit.
