:stop Computer nerds, quick question


I bought this casing but it doesn't come with the digital meters on top. That is a mod. Any idea how to achieve this? It looks pretty awesome.

I've got something similar and love it. My quadcore heats up quick, specially in the summer, and gets extremely loud from the fans. My controller allows me to turn down the fans when I don't need them at full blast. Mine monitors the main HD, cpu, and gpu temps, and all fan speeds.

Obviously it has nothing to do with making the computer run better. It's more of an aesthetics thing. The case on the other hand, depending on which on you get, will help with better airflow to keep things cool with the proper amount of fans. The case showed in the OP has very good cable management and looks nice on top of that. All the other stuff, leds, led fans etc.. are all to make things look the way you want them instead of some plain old ugly beige case with no real features.

Not sure why you would think anything "genius" is needed here. Some like things like t7his. Others don't give a shit so we can leave it at that.

I suspect you didn't watch the video. Towards the end he says his fancy gauges makes people talk and ask lots of questions. Its soooo COOL!
