Looks like an uglier Panamera to me. But I love the Panamera. Everyone else (Jalopnik...) seems to think it's ugly.

I test drove a Panamera, For being over $100K it was really slow....

As far as power my "moded" Eclipse gst made the Panamera feel like a family car.

In Europe, at least in some countries some model station wagon versions are being sold in similar quantities as sedan versions. They were gaining huge popularity during the last 5 or so years. Its news to me that it is so completely different in the US.

ps: I do not like station wagons, but some looks almost as good as sedan versions. However not in this case, this car is ugly. And that comes from a guy who thinks the first generation of MB CLS is one of the best looking cars ever.

I actually really like wagons, but that thing is ugly. Give me an Audi anyday, or even a E class wagon.

Speaking of station wagons, I just saw this uploaded by saabkyle (the best youtube channel for used car tours). This 1994 wagon has the same engine as a Corvette and just look at the surprising features for the year. If you like wagons you could probably get one of these pretty cheap.

I have built lots of LT1 B-Bodies like the Roadmaster wagon posted in the video above. They are pretty nice cars with enough money thrown at them but still don't come anywhere close to a Caddy V-Wagon, Panamera, BMW or Benz wagon and the newest model is 16 years old min.

For the price the V-Wagon is a steal for ZR1 power, Recaro Seating, SRX cargo capacity and Smooth Cadillac magnetic ride for under $70k with full factory warranty. Since I'm getting a V-Wagon I gotta buy the wife a Mini Clubman S not a bad deal ;)

That's a station wagon, not a shooting brake.

Nobody is going to buy something like that in any great numbers in north America unless they can fit a sheet of drywall in the back.

He is not saying that there are 0 station wagons for sale. He is saying that its pretty small niche. Caddy should cover most of it.
But its very strange that they are so unpopular. Like I said in some Europe countries these things (of some models) are being sold in similar quantities as sedans. People like them just because it drives same as sedan, just you have more space for your stuff.

Example of station wagon that does not look worse than sedan version:

bmw 5 series looks decent as well:
