The Vice Presidential Debate: Joe Biden Was Right to Laugh Read more: http://www.rollingstone.com/p

Great article on last night's VP debate from Rolling Stone's Matt Taibbi. He really does some in depth analysis on Ryan's gamesmanship giving elusive answers. A very good read.

I've never thought much of Joe Biden. But man, did he get it right in last night's debate, and not just because he walloped sniveling little Paul Ryan on the facts. What he got absolutely right, despite what you might read this morning (many outlets are criticizing Biden's dramatic excesses), was his tone. Biden did absolutely roll his eyes, snort, laugh derisively and throw his hands up in the air whenever Ryan trotted out his little beady-eyed BS-isms.

One look into Ryan's steely blue eyes could reduce any man to nervous giggles.

But seriously, I think they need to stop with the split screen during debates. People are focusing too much on how people look instead of what they are saying. Putting a camera on someone for two hours straight is a little excessive. A split screen during a back and forth is fine, but not the whole time.

Haven't had a chance to watch this debate yet, but I saw a clip or two and Ryan appeared very deer in the headlights. And Biden seemed very good in his responses.

think about that

The load of balls that both Romney and Ryan have been pushing out there for this whole election season is simply not intellectually serious.

Most of their platform isn't even a real platform, it's a fourth-rate parlor trick designed to paper over the real agenda ? cutting taxes even more for super-rich dickheads like Mitt Romney, and getting everyone else to pay the bill.

I must agree. I'm not impressed by the Rmoney/Ryan ticket.
