Would Obama have been elected if he'd said "Under my leadership, we will make small but steady improvements in the economy, lower the unemployment rate a bit, not launch any new wars, and pass a mediocre healthcare bill that will at least improve on our fucked up healthcare system somewhat, and can be improved upon in the future." That's what happened. They all promise the moon because they have to. None of them ever succeed in 100% of it. That's NOT the same as lying OR flip/flopping.
