Windows Search - File Manager

How would I search for all files ending in 1.ext with a space before the 1?
I've tried searching for " 1.ext" with the quotes but it will return filenames like "filename (part 1).ext" with parenthesis before the .ext... what the fuck is up with the filenames with parenthesis showing up as a match...

Has a decent FTP too as well as a wicked multi-file renamer.
