think it's reached the point where very few of the forum actually work in porn. (like a guy that pushed traffic ever did)

seems to be a bunch of failed webmasters, failed shooters, misogynist and high school kids with a few nuts tossed in to the mix just for fun... I can really only think of about 10 people that I know for a fact earn their daily bread from the biz that post here, and I have their contacts.

It's only way I can figure all the 'disdain and hate ' for an industry that is 'supposedly paying the bills', doesn't make sense any other way

I'm not to comfortable reading a forum that rejoices in the possible financial ruin of my family and friends. way to creepy.... oh well it was great fun for years

I don't think that it failed because I'm not capable of doing it. I had three sites in the works, two actually launched for awhile. Once I ran out of new content, I stopped allowing new members (since there would be no updates). After about a month of no updates (during which I communicated with existing members), I decided I was never going to get this girl to shoot enough content for her site, and I yanked the whole thing offline. This was a few years ago, and it's fucking hilarious that this girl is now up for AVN awards, and has actually become known for her camshows, which I couldn't get her to do for her paying members. Ugh....

And the last one was also a local, established porn star, who had already been nominated for an AVN. We shot a bunch of content for a few days over a weekend (some g/g with the above mentioned porn star), and in the following weeks, when I was trying to schedule some more shoots, the girl decided she was leaving the adult biz. To this point, I've only seen new stuff from her coming from ALS, who she liked working with a lot, so I think they're the only ones she works with now.

All of these attempts were years ago. Since then, I've taken on work with a phone sex company doing web shit. I get paid a weekly salary, and it's adequate to pay my bills. I still long to return to shooting, but I'm taking it slow this time around. And my wife, who helped me with all of the above (she likes setting up the scenes/backgrounds and dressing the models for solo shoots), has since taken a job at the martial arts school my son attends. She's doing marketing and is the program director. She's on salary, and makes monthly commissions. I'm contributing to that by designing new t-shirts for the school, and I'm going to revamp their website and cover the online marketing.

But my main priority is my adult work, as I love the industry in general. I have yet to attend a show, so sadly, "GrapeSoda," I don't even really know who you are. Same goes for pretty much everyone on here...I know you mostly as GFY usernames, though I do have the utmost respect for many of you. I have chatted with some local GFY-ers. I tend to use this forum to joke, but I do read a lot and take in a lot.

Sorry to babble so long; I just wanted to put out there that I do agree with your post to an extent, but that I consider myself one of you.
