The real Agent 728 has for the moment blocked the debut Tuesday night of a hastily produced pornographic film that presents an erotic portrayal of the Montreal officer?s now notorious on-duty actions, which made her a YouTube sensation in recent months and got her temporarily suspended.

Stéfanie Trudeau is seeking an injunction to stop the release of an adult movie titled Agent 728 XXX, arguing the erotic take on her recent interventions and the use of her unique badge number are a violation of her rights.

The film was set to premiere at Le Belmont on St. Laurent Blvd., where condoms and tissues bearing a 728 logo were to be distributed, according to court documents. The showing has been called off for now, says Trudeau?s lawyer, Annie-Élizabeth Girard, in a brief message, pending a full hearing on the future release of the film set for Dec. 10.

In the motion, Trudeau argues her badge number and personal details were used in the film without her permission and threaten to damage her reputation as well as undermine her eventual reintegration to work once the investigation into her use of physical force during the student crisis and an October incident is completed.

?Being associated, against my will, with pornography constitutes in itself an attack on my dignity, causing me a serious amount of stress, anxiety and even humiliation,? a sworn affidavit from Trudeau states. ?The inference made by the defendant, alias Alyson Queen, to the extent that she is in a pornographic film where she is having sexual contact with other women, where she is using her power and the instruments of police work in sexual acts, is an attack not only on my dignity and my private life, but on my career as a police officer.?

According to the injunction, Trudeau learned of the pornographic film last week during promotional interviews given by the movie?s star. The attempt to block Agent 728 XXX?s release targets the actress, Alyson Queen, A D 4 Distribution, an adult film company and its president, André Grenier, as well as the Belmont, where the launch was to take place.

Trudeau first rose to prominence last May during the student conflict in the spring when YouTube video showed her pepper-spraying protesters at close range in the face before and after they taunted her. She was assigned to administrative duties.

Then in October, another video made the rounds on social media showing Officer 728 forcibly arresting a man opening a door for a friend while holding a beer bottle. The incident, in which a smartphone she seized also recorded her salty language while talking to her supervisor, resulted in dozens of officers rushing to the scene but no charges being laid. Once the video went public, Trudeau was suspended temporarily pending an internal investigation, and Montreal Police Chief Marc Parent held a press conference to say the force was taking the incident seriously.

The October intervention resulted in much media coverage of Trudeau?s disciplinary past, which included her aggressive behaviour at Ste. Justine Hospital during her investigation of the sexual assault of a minor and a lawsuit over her arrest of a dad with a baby stroller on Halloween.
