The community did essentially come together as there was a mass exodus of affiliates from MR as more and more evidence surfaced of their defrauding affiliates and consumers. Bob Rice was linked to all of the shady practices going on at I$ before MR, there were plenty of signs early on to stay far away from sending any traffic to MR. I don't know how much is owed to you, but you should basically forget about it and move on.
