Would you rather when a quote by an ignored user is shown, have it delete the contents saying "This quote has been removed due to the user being on your ignore" or have it completely remove the response to the quote?

I agree. Take it out completely. Their comments are worthless, who the hell cares what they think, it's not like they will have something useful to say. Once I set a particular person to ignore, when the post, it doesn't even cross my mind to care what they wrote.

Yeah that's what I thought too, but what if I respond to someone else too in the same post? That's my biggest concern, but the whole point of the extension is to make it so that user never existed, so if you leave messages in there, it's not the same.

So far remove completely is winning, so I guess that's probably what I'll do.

Gonna put that in, fix a couple bugs, then port it over to FireFox also for Franck and Baddog.

some of the responses to troll posts are hilarious, so since you're asking I'd say: set it up to remove the quote from an ignored user but leave the response to that removed quote

either way the extension sounds hype, though. maybe setting it up to erase entire posts that include troll quotes will make people less likely to quote em

I haven't tried it out yet but since you're setting it up for ff I'm def going to do so
