Experts Predict a Hiring Boom in 2013

It looks like Obama was on the case and delivering new jobs as guar-an-teed.

/sarcasm

Quote:
Positive signs, with a caveat. Even as the fiscal cliff looms, Noftsinger says the current demand-driven hiring is a positive. As long as consumers keep spending, he says, the economy will continue to add jobs. He believes the fiscal cliff is the only thing potentially blocking 2013 from becoming an "accelerating positive year."

"If I'm seeing the bell ring on the door and more customers come to my store, I'm going to hire more workers," he says.
As has been discussed in many other threads. Taxes are not going to prevent hiring if there is a increased, steady demand, for the company's products or services. Which does appear to be the case based on the article and projections.

I still don't think people understand what we as a nation just went through. This wasn't "small recession"; People weren't worried about loosing their jobs they were worried about loosing the house over their head. Exactly half of the people on my house lost their fucking houses at the height of this.

I honestly do not believe McCain could have done better.

It's only going to get better. It can't get much worse.

One could also argue obama didn't help the recovery either and prolonged it much like the great recession was...

Or you could say politicians have little to do with the economy and its just a matter of being at the right place & time in a cycle to get credit for it.
