Why we'll never understand each other

Those of us who do, and those of us who don't, will never cross the divide

25% of people of are casual sociopaths and they will not be able to truly successfully mimic empathetic humans. What does this forlorn post have to do with business? A casual sociopath will pay his/her bills only so long as he/she absolutely must. Honor, need, contracts, understanding, friendship, etc none of that matters. Does it benefit them, right now, and can they avoid punishment, are the only questions relevant.

thats an interesting article but not too surprising unfortunately. For me I do not swerve to hit anything on the road. I will do it to avoid but only if I consider it safe. Some of the roads here in Kentucky if you swerve to avoid a small animal you may end up killing yourself in the process

Yeah once you meet a person who was crippled to avoid hitting an animal you revise your policy. Swerving to hit one is a different thing, very different, like the difference between self defense and murder.

People think sociopaths only make up 2-3% of the population; casual sociopaths are 10 times that.

Many sociopaths love animals more than humans, and feel a greater kinship with animals than with humans.

There's something else going on here, it's not sociopathy.

I don't know about that - one of the signs of sociopathic disorder is cruelty to animals, especially as a youth.

The use of "controlled" animals to demonstrate superiority, as a part of a tableau or image, may lead to the perception that they love the animals. Many serial killers, the lowest form of sociopaths, have family and "loved ones", as well as pets.

I love animals, but I'd swerve to avoid the turtle mostly because I don't want animal guts on my wheels -- as long as its safe for me to swerve.

If it was a dog, I'd probably damn near kill myself to not hit it.
