I've been noticing some severely slow load times over the last few days. I think they had better start tightening up their game before people start jumping ship

Look, I have been with webair for ages and yes there have been a few bumps in the road but all minor. Downtime has been very little...some years not at all...overall I give them a decent grade.

I am having literal panic attacks right now and need to speak to a human as so many different account are effected and I don't know if there is a potential compromise and what to do next even outside of Webair if that is what needs to be done.

Did you CALL them?

If so did they not answer?

If they didn't answer, isn't that a clue they are fucking shitty?

Are you really this fucking retarded? In my opinion, only poor and/or stupid people use Webair.

And who do you use? Oh yeah, nobody. You have to actually have some traffic in order to need a webhost.

They are rebranding themselves as WebError and its taking longer than expected to migrate all the accounts over to the new site.

Leaving Webair was one of the best decisions I have made. I was with them for over 5 years. The cause of this was literally 3+ WEEKS of downtime.

My SE rankings actually increased and income jumped immediately after moving my sites to a new host.

I left webair for two reasons:

1. Lots of random downtime
2. Shityy blaclisted in sorbs ip ranges... and suppor just didn't give a shit about that.

But that was years ago *shrug*

I have 10 servers at Webair and have for years, if I need to speak to them I pick up the phone and call. I've been there since 2000 and never had more than a very minor issue every few years. Rock on Webair!

I think dey have moved onto bigger and better things, jus saw dis post on the webair FB page, not to mention all my servers still there kickin ass...:

Webair completes network upgrades in NY1 facility providing 200Gbps of dedicated capacity to its Cloud Computing cluster.

NEW YORK, Jan. 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Webair Internet Development Inc., a global leader in Managed Services and Cloud Hosting infrastructure has announced the completion of a series of network upgrades designed to vastly increase its cloud infrastructure's network connectivity and redundancy. The upgrades involved the installation of new Cisco and Juniper networking equipment which provide dedicated routing capabilities to its cloud computing infrastructure. The upgrades, which were performed during scheduled maintenance windows did not affect any client services, a testament to Webair's network resiliency and redundancy. The end result of the work performed is an overall increase of dedicated bandwidth of 200Gbps. The new network configuration also greatly increases the amount of traffic that can be processed and the ability to prevent and block DDoS attacks. New and existing clients can now also order cloud servers with dedicated 10GB network interfaces.

The upgrade also further enhances Webair's Carrier Neutral Cloud service, which allows customers to use any bandwidth provider of their choice with Webair's cloud computing platform.

"Webair's flexible network topology allows us to easily perform upgrades to stay ahead of our clients' demands while not impacting any customer services. As the lines between physical and virtual networks blur, Webair continues to enhance its network stack by providing a scalable network layer which can facilitate any hybrid cloud configuration," said Billy Choe , Senior Network Engineer, Webair.

About Webair
Founded in 1996, Webair is a leader in managed hosting solutions, including Managed & Secure Cloud Infrastructure for companies of all sizes and is recognized as a global leader in the industry. Webair offers a variety of Hosting services including Public, Private & Hybrid Clouds, Dedicated Servers, Colocation, CDN and Video Streaming Solutions. So rather than Mike reaching out to a customer to see how he can get their problem resolved ... he is too busy posting on GFY with a fake nick.

How many times has this same exact thing happened now?

never understood all the haters. the OP has an issue and seeing if others have similar issue. then come the haters. I have said it before and I will say it again - Been with Webair for 6+ years and always refer clients to them because of the great service and support.

Haters are only hating because they didn't or aren't receiving respect in the form of customer service and fixes. When sites are down or slow-loading, $ is lost, PR is lost. And to have the balls to close a ticket and say the problem is fixed when my sites are loading slow or not loading at all is a total smack.

I will be the one to have to pay as in pay my tech to move the sites to another hosting company, which will cost me in the hundreds of dollars, estimating at 1 hour per site migration time.

Turned out to be multiple issues, none fixed yet except passwords are now all reset.

I finally get someone late in the day that was very helpful, however I still can't see or work on any of my or my clients web sites through my DSL and good knows how many other people are blocked because of the backbone issue in NY...oh and I still get no emails either...

The problem is you have 101 posts and choose to post in the thread of a company that has repeatedly been caught using fake nicks like (Ali G) ... so of course people are going to be skeptical when yet another person that never posts here comes in to say how great Webair is only to disappear again.

While there are a few companies that hold a significant share of the adult hosting biz, none have as many negative threads as Webair.

If you would or need to find out more about me, here I am. I posted in this thread because I have a lot of positive to say about Mike and his crew. If you would like to see me in person come the the Phoenix show, I'll be there!

Ya your right I do only have 101 post as I don't post much, I happened upon this thread and just felt the need to say something. Then it's like I'm Mike, I'M NOT! I have known Mike & Mike M and Sagi and ton's of people at Webair for many years and it kinda pisses me off when I see some of these post. I have never ever called there and not been able to resolve an issue, so I find it hard to believe some of the crap said about people who have taken very good care of me for over 10 years... It's as simple as that...
