Because the supreme court has ruled the 2nd is a fundamental right... just like the 1st... the 4th 5th and 6th are not fundamental much less the 14th...

I dont think banning but I think classes and qualifications should be a must. There is great responsibility in owning a firearm and its taken pretty lightly.
