Using lethal force to protect property when your person is not faced with imminent lethal threat is manslaughter in this state.

That is what personal property insurance is for.

13 shots to hit 2 men? That fucker could not hit the broad side of a barn. Assholes like that ended up on Boot Hill in unmarked graves in 1870's Texas

"Bexar County Texas First Assistant District Attorney Cliff Herberg, said he couldn't comment on the specifics of this case but said Texas law allows for deadly force to be used to protect property, including against a person fleeing with the property.

The law also covers theft or criminal mischief occurring at night."

pretty pathetic. i'm sorry but anyone who feels they should kill someone because they stole their car is psychopath in my opinion.

If you do the crime, you do the time. It's the nature of the game, I applauded the property owner for using extreme prejudice on these scum bag thieves. My only regret is that his aim wasn't better and the other thief is alive
