I notice that I write and talk more when I take it. But it sure is amazing. I got three projects done this evening and managed to make some inroads on a deal I've been trying to get made for years. I seem to articulate my thoughts correctly and focus on one thing at a time. I don't seem to be out of my chair so much.. it's been three hours that I haven't gotten up to wander around aimlessly. That's pretty nice.

I'm told that only people with ADHD respond this way to adderall. Most people it'll make them jittery and energetic, right? Me, it doesn't. I'm sitting here calm and peaceful and was able to focus on things I've been needing to do for weeks now.

The only downside is that it seems to help me stay awake for a longer period of time. Ever since I was a young boy, I stay awake for well over 24hrs. When I take adderall I might end up being awake for 48+.. when it wears off, if I don't sleep, it can go the other way on me.

It seems to be effective in me for nearly 20 hours when I have the extended release capsules(they give you an instant dose and another equal dose 4hrs later). When it wears off I never redose but if I don't go to sleep I do end up scattered and upset and jittery. I got into a-lot of trouble once when that happened.

I was doing the right thing by NOT redosing when I'd been up too long.. I was trying to not abuse it, which I haven't ever. The answer is to FORCE yourself to sleep when you get to that "I've been awake far too long and I'm useless and upset" stage.

Anyway- it's a miracle drug, but I don't think I would want to use it more than 2-3 days per week. Does anyone know if having only 1/4 normal kidney capacity could be why it's effective for so long?

I didn't think coke had anything to do with amps.. I always thought if I was going to try any drugs, coke would definitely be for me... but I haven't ever done ANY of them. I tried weed 3-4 times and hated it. I was afraid that if I tried anything harder I'd never quit whatever I tried.

Adderall scared me at first but I haven't found it to be addictive at all. I don't take it for 2-3 weeks at a time and I'm fine.. no withdrawl or anything. When I have it around I'll only take it 2 days in a row at the most.

teh affects are the same. a lot of chatter. you feel cold but your sweating, you want to mvoe around a lot. cant sit still etc....

I never tried coke until i was in my mid 20's. I took adderall in high school. First time I did coke I had flashbacks of math class..

I never feel cold or hot when I take adderall.. I do attribute my talkativeness to being able to articulate my thoughts. Normally, without adderall, I can't really say or write what I am thinking. So then once I can it seems to come out all at once like a cumshot. Heh!

Stop thinking? You're obviously very "on" right now. Say what you like but you are not a legitimate candidate for adderall. Just because a quack will prescribe it doesn't mean you need it.

Well.. I'm not nervous or jittery or energetic or any of that. I say that it makes me stop thinking about everything all at once. There are a-lot of things I have been meaning to address and deal with - I feel more able to do that right now - so there is a-lot on my mind. I definitely feel like I'm processing everything better, though. I got a-lot done tonight.

I don't believe you- in school I was many grades ahead and essentially ready for college by age twelve. I had completely finished all of the grade school (through high school) work and I had not even been to "middle" school yet.

PS: I absolutely agree with you about doctors these days. EVERYONE is diagnosed with SOMETHING they can write them for. Body doctors should never prescribe mind medications, either. They really shouldn't.

I've read several books about ADHD and spoken at length with a qualified professional about it. I wasn't one who easily accepted ADHD even existing. As a boy in school I was "diagnosed" with having ADD - but my parents and I always thought of it as a "made up bullshit affliction".

Now, I believe that it is real. I do think that we agree that in a-lot of cases doctors are full of shit and you probably see it a-lot like I see it. The whole nation runs on pills they don't need.

Well- I definitely have concerns about the long term effects of it, and I surely would not want to take it on a daily basis... It shrivels up my dick but it also somehow makes it get really hard when it's "time".. . Also if I've had adderall and I have a blowjob it's pretty damned extremely intense.

My sister tells me that since we "need adderall" there won't be any negative long term effects. I might believe that about the mental part of it- but there is no WAY adderall is good for our bodies, period, it just can't be.

You ARE abusing it.
You SHOULD take it daily, as prescribed.
Let your body adapt to it before you expect to see the results you seek.
If you continually take it sporadically, your body will never react the way it should.
If this is not achievable, then ask your doctor about vyvanse or ritalin.
However, no matter what you get, take it regularly for a couple weeks before deciding if it works as intended... unless of course you get side effects then let your doc know.
