Mainstream shows verus adult shows

I dont ever want to hear adult complain about every show being filled up processors

I was at a mainstream show today and out of the 15 business cards (small show) i got 12 are SEO companies and 3 are mailers.

Lets see what their parties are like....

I dont do that either.

I like it is good if you DONT do what the majority is at these shows, as you stick out more. They are also national shows, so a lot of the attendees are from all over the US, when my business is just locally based. So that kind of sucked.

But the local tech shows that are more generic and not vertical based, I get great leads from. Its a good mix of vendors, not overbearing of any particular one. But if it is a 'Marketing' based show. You are going to get a lot of marketing people etc.

I know this is not adult. But just relating based on what I have attended this last year.
