Bank of America

Last night I noticed a $300+ transaction to Walmart in another city/state. Also a $3 charge to some gas station in a different state.

Figured I'd call Bank of America today since it was late last night. Today I tried to buy gas and my card was declined. Bank of America had noticed the fraud and blocked the card. The strange transactions disappeared and all my money is back.

Off to the bank now to get a temp card. They said I can't be in two places at the same time. Amazing!

That's the first positive comment I have ever heard about BOA.... Good for you.

They said they tried the card again today at a bunch of different places..

Glad they caught it early. I wonder where they stole my card.

That's about the only positive thing I can say about BofA. Had the same thing happen a few years back and they handled it amazingly. Other than that, they fucking suck so I left.

they didn't steal your card, cause if they did, you'd be up for paying for that party till you claimed the card was stolen

so in this case, your banking information got jacked, and your bank was responsible for it from the beginning, and all that has been solved is your ATM no longer works

i'd be watching your credit report real careful like

More than likely your info was only stolen...not the card itself. Becoming more and more popular nowadays is RFID theft. They setup open readers that project out about 5 feet that can steal your info by you just walking by it. I bought a wallet with RFID blockers...I recommend everyone else do the same.
