Posting this here for the humor value. What's striking about the article is the way it talks smack about Manwin without actually including or linking to any of the evidence. It's like the skin of an investigative reporting piece, but without any of the bones:

The idea is that the unique selling proposition behind a cam show is the interaction with the girl. Watching the video of somebody else interacting with a camgirl, supposedly, is weak beer next to having her doing what you ask her to do. So those videos being out on the tubes supposedly doesn't compete with the live cam experience.

I think the truth is more complex. For some potential customers the above will be true. For others, not so much. And for some, perhaps watching somebody else's cam show will be the inspiration to pay for a real, personal show.

At the end of the day "utterly immune to piracy" is crazy. But a phrase like "much more resistant to piracy" would probably have been fair.

Quite this. Also several guys want to show themselves to the girl, talk to them funny or dirty, and girls will comment back.. you guess a recorded video can't say she like yours and can't laugh at your humor, thisis quite a completely different thing.

What I see is what I see. I've also seen many people here on gfy asking for tips on the best methods to record shows off their screen as well. But you're right, nobody does it.

Forkbeard... I have to agree with you. The interaction is what they want, that is true. It depends on the girl and her show. Probably the most interactive girls get the least recorded cams. I have seen some girls who do pretty explicit things without ever really interacting, in public chat. Guys are lonely out there and just want to talk with each other and the girl. Videos can never replace that. But cam shows can also not be fast forwarded to the good bits when the girls are teasing or not giving up the cookie when you want. ;)
