What do you need to cut that's longer than three inches? Um, food? My step father used to carve up deer we shot and killed. My neighbors use a huge fucking machete on what looks like calf leg or something - right there in the driveway. It's fucking odd. (Or maybe they are sending me a message?)

This is the point. We need knives. I used a knife this afternoon to make my lunch, and I'll be slicing and dicing my chicken for dinner tonight. Yet the majority of people go their entire lives without ever having fired a gun....

Seems like the nutter didn't use a real knife, it's pretty hard to kill with x-acto knives. I'm surprised it took so long for someone to get him, he doesn't look very big.

There are a couple thousand dead people that would disagree if they were still alive. The 9/11 hijackers had "x-acto" knives. And any sharp blade across the throat will kill you.

Oh and just for the record, I process my own deer every year 1-3 of them, and the 3 knives I use are less than 4 inches.

So I don't have to reply later, my state allows a .223 round to be used to hunt deer. So yes, Ar-15 or and other rifle that takes a .223 or 5.56
