So what does your weekend look like?

I'm wrapping up the weeks work, going over a promotion with the boss.
I want to push the check cashing feature

This evening, meeting up with a few buddies that have Harleys and going to Granada Hills where on one street, they have over 35 gourmet lunch trucks with some of the most unusual food you might have ever seen

Then hit a local watering hole called the Liquid Zoo, where Audrey makes a killer Bloody Mary

Then tomorrow finish painting my office, take down my train set and take my girl to a movie. She wants to see Ironman 3

Probably ride out somewhere nice for a brunch on Sunday

I'll be home scrubbing down my computer chair. I'm hoping it will come clean or it looks like I'll be in the market for a used one off of Craigslist

Started the weekend off a little early. Went on a nice double date to our fav sushi place with my best friend and his gf. Tonight, got Django waiting for the wife and I at home and will prob order some sushi again (slight addiction) Saturday have 10 yards of mulch being delivered and some yard work to take care of. Celebrating my bday and a friends bday at a club in NYC. Then if were able to get out of bed in time head down to Six Flags on Sunday.

Ironman 3 was worth seeing. Funny too.

My wife needs me to move some gear around for her business Saturday afternoon. I want to wash a car or two, then go for a long bike ride.

Just like every other weekend...

Starts off with..

Which leads to...

Eventually goes into...

Then...

After a few hours of saying I'll never drink again...

Next morning...

Followed by an entire day of..

All to start again with...

I'll be fending off silly questions from models that can't read, or don't read...and watching a couple of different versions of horsepower all weekend! ;-)

Dangit it's a 6 hour round-trip for me, not going to happen on a work day.

For a while now I've been hearing about those gatherings of upscale roach coaches, supposed to be some awesome food

Sometimes on the weekends I'll ride down there to the SFV to visit the El Taco Llama or Yoshinoya (yeah, I know) I used to go to 20+ years ago when I lived down there

My wife is making Lobster thermador tonight. (no shit, she is really a great cook), and we just picked up the live maine lobsters.

Tomorrow going for a run around the bay with my son in the jogging stroller. In the pool in the afternoon, evening up to a friends place in Fort Lauderdale for dinner.

Sunday was going to be out on the boat, but there is a problem with a temperature sensor, so I'm not sure now.... maybe brunch with my father and my son in South Beach, and then just chill out the rest of Sunday.

P.S. Bossku69, I love the picture sequence!! LOL!

No shame there, I went to eat at Yoshinoya over 20 years ago, but haven't tried it since I got back to LA 2 years ago. I ate at Panda Express for lunch yesterday.

Next time you come down here, hit me up, we're always doing something. Nice heat today, the power for the whole block went off for a couple hours, I walked down a block and saw them repairing a power pole, so without internet, I went for a nice ride on the Harley

Meeting up with Kayla Kleevage to have dinner at The Grotto in The Golden Nugget on Fremont St. tonight at 8:30
Then grab some $2 drinks at The Las Vegas Club Casino on Fremont and walk up and down the street checking out the bands and partying.
Then sex.

Tomorrow (Sat.) gonna drive over to The Hoover Dam and Lake Meade for the day. Then hit some bars around Vegas that night.
Then sex.

Sunday...mow the yard, trim the hedges. Watch t.v. that night.
Then sex.

Tonight I am going over to a friend's place so he can cook for me. Since he is a chef at paramount, I'm looking forward to that.

Tomorrow I am going to Santa Monica for their British Jubilee event.

Sunday I am going to a q&a session with Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes.

Just got done grilling; think I will go down to the new microbrewery, then either pick up a growler at another place or pick something up from Total Wine.

Tomorrow, maybe visit Free Comic Book Day and shoot it.

Sunday a ride? I don't really plan much, just whatever happens.

Last night had a few beers with a friend, I helped him with his Android development homework shit that needs to be done for him to graduate college next weekend, played with his little lab pup, then we did some stabilizing on the 1970's foosball table he picked up so it's a little better at handling drunk people for our laid back grill out / bachelor party next Saturday.

Today I'll work a little on my iOS/Android pub app, installing XBMC on a Ubuntu VM right now. I'll probably finish writing the CMS for one of my adult sites I have been working on and launch that this coming week... Pimp myself out to a few people who are possibly looking for a coder.

Tomorrow I have to go spend the whole day in church because I am my oldest nephew's god father and he goes through something or another... sorta like a graduation thing, I don't know... Then I'll probably just spend the rest of the day with family.

That's this weekend's plans.

It amazes me no one said Cinco De Mayo. I use to celebrate it all the time, but didn't even see anything about it this year.

think about that

I completely forgot myself it was this weekend.

As expected, my weekend went exactly how it was described

I wish mine had, some shit stain decided he wanted to start a fight with me in my favorite watering hole, when I stood up, he backed down very quickly.

That was friday

Saturday and Sunday. Went for a short ride both days and worked on my office, putting in the floor now, found some laminate for less than $1 sqft at home depot, looks pretty good too. Going to put solid flooring in the bedroom when I do that room.

I guessed ;)

It was good, it was my first time seeing Mewes in person. I've seen Smith several times before going as far back as Mallrats. Mewes is actually the producer of the animated movie they are touring so he was engaged and only came across slightly out of it. The viewing was suppose to start at 10 but was late. We had to leave at 1am and they were still answering questions. I get a bit embarrassed by our geek tribe when they start asking questions that make me cringe but hey, without them how do we sit at the cool table?
