Memorial Day Weekend? Has anyone here been to the Indianapolis 500? 5 times here.
My first year was back in 2005, Danica Patrick's first year. Watched her get 8th place
Skipped one year and then went 4 consecutive years. It's been a couple years, and unfortunately won't be going this year too. It's one of those truly American things, although people from all over the world race at Indy. I got to see Formula 1 there before they yanked it (that's a truly international event). Our seats were just after the finish lane in the first tier of bleachers. |
