You need to start using the fortnight (2 weeks) system my friend. If it happens once per fortnight, it's every 2 weeks. You can't bifortnight, because that would be a week.

Also, since it's an acronym, you should read it just as this guy says now. However, since English is one of those illogical languages, anything can be pronounced in very different ways, hence the discussion.
