Godaddy Auctions

On a whim I decided to purchase a domain through Godaddy Auctions. I paid the $4.99 reg fee and bought a domain however now I can't access it.

Does anyone have experience with Godaddy auctions, once I have bought how long does it take to show in my domains?

If you go into your auction account and look at won domains, it lists the date that you get control of it.

Ah ok, I see it. It says 1st June. I thought it would be instant. Oh well.

if you buy expired domains there you have to wait 7 days before it becomes accessible

it is not instant, and sometimes it is possible for the original owner to buy it back from under you before that date (if it is an expiring domain)

Great way to pick up a decent 10 year old domain in just about any niche for $8 or so. Use promo codes.
