i don't regard most of those people as trolls - a troll to me is a normal person who gets his kicks winding people up on forums and bullying those with obvious issues with no other intent other than that. when i say 'normal' i mean he's not an obvious oddball/weirdo - but they do have some real hostility and are absolutely cowards.

He acted like a troll, embraced being a troll "and" .. won a prestigious award for being a troll. I think it's pretty safe to say that he was a full-fledged troll in every sense of the word.
