![]() i know i must be the black sheep of this forum for bringing this up again but i took the mazda 2 out for another drive today, probably my last for a while because the dealership will be getting sick of the mere sight of me.
didn't disapoint, except this used 2010 mazda demio 2 (standard also, not sport) didn't unlock when the door latch was pulled on any door. not sure whether i had a lock function activated anywhere on the door but that was a bit annoying having to unlock the door first instead of it opening in one action. also missing the flap over the boot, but no biggie. no factory usb either if i really had to be too fussy. looks modest and mystical in silver instead of the loud and proud green, i noticed mitsubishi has the new mirage in green now too as a factory colour. holden did it too with their commodores. i am not sure. my nissan is a 1998 not 2010 like this mazda 2 i took out today and my current car has everything this mazda 2 has just without the curvy shape. the stereo was fitted not factory i could just spend the money i would on that other car on the one i already have and look after it a bit better. still, i think i have been seduced by the curves of the mazda 2, my nissan is so square, really square. the current mazda 2 appears a bit sleeker than the childish mitsubishi mirage. i just didn't get it, why did this dealership fit a turbo to a mazda 2 when you see a lot of elderly people drive those cars? |

And you feel the need to share this why? Is it a seo promo for the car?

some blue balls in the workshop decided to fit a turbo to this mazda 2 i suspect. i accelerate in it it must have only took two seconds zero to fifty kilometre an hour who is going to want to buy a car like that certainly not an elderly person. since when did my ford mazda dealership start catering to street racers instead of the fellow man.
i would go around a corner it would shift down a gear but stay stuck in third around a roundabout. on the acceleration again, a lot of punch, but the engine just straining and so loud i mean what in the world. the transmission was slipping quite a bit. the mechanics and engineers in the workshop at the dealership or somewhere in japan couldn't have done a very good job of modifying the performance because i can bet my bottom dollar it wasn't produced like that out of the factory. i can show you a nissan micra that is probably souped up like that mazda 2. it is in black and has gold spoked wheels like a low rider or chopper bike, as in a pedal bicycle. but for now its just me and my nissan, doing what we both enjoy, and thats driving. my nissan is like my old faithful i was thinking today, starts every time without fail. |
