When you remove your channels from the *user* uploaded Tubes sites, I'll consider promoting you again. This is not about trying to defeat Manwin or other similar operations that warehouse and distribute sponsor content without permission or compensation.

This is about the understanding that one can make money in this arena without taking shortcuts that enable certain sites to thrive via the fucking over of other sponsors.

I can make money with or without you. I choose to make money without you. For now, I will just find other sponsors to replace you.

I would appreciate being spammed with sponsors having artistic nude, softcore and hardcore content.

I am just keeping several sponsors informed of my decision with this one topic.

They can do whatever they want.

For example, if they want to give these mega Tubes a greater Search Engine presence that results in more surfers finding their free content at said mega Tubes, which in turn undermines the ability of their affiliate base to send in sales and thus create a cycle of dependency upon the high volume of traffic provided by said mega Tubes, which ultimately translates into less sales in the long run for them because of the devaluation of their product ( again, undermining ability of the affiliate baase to send in sales ), so be it.

Which should somewhat answer the next question.

If my ability to send in sales hadn't been undermined during recent years by these ex-sponsors, I'd be able to give you a more specific number.

Suffice to say, I've just given another substantial reason for a lowly affiliate with a low volume of traffic such as myself to drop the aforementioned sponsors.

If I had to put a number on what could be now based on past performance.

$1.2 - $1.5K new sales and rebills yearly for FemjoyCash from 1.5K uvees daily ( keep in mind I just run small hobby sites that don't give away tons of free shit and devalue the content ).

Probably same for X-Art, SapphicCash ( before the lesbiankino.com skimming )

Met-Art perhaps $700 - $900, factoring in the lousy rebilling compared to Femjoy.

Long time ago i had similar policy where i didnt wanted to work with sponsors or affiliates working with tubes but as simply toomuch people working with them there was no point,beside paysite sales are not my primary occupation anyway.
And yes i see you aim to avoid saturation effect(damn i think i have'nt use that word for ages lol).

Let's say for example you have 500 little guys like me earning you a share of anywhere between $1K to $5K each per year per program.

Your take for the year is $500,000 to $2,500,000 minus operating costs.

Now when you have 490 little guys like me and 10 mega user uploaded Tubes - we make less for you ( because we are starved of quality SE traffic ), but this is compensated by you not having to pay us a share for any sales you made in the bypass.

However, you make less sales overall because you devalued your content. You lose out on further sales by alienating most of the potential female consumers through association with these mega Tubes that serve up mysoginistic ads for the male attendees.

The ads in general are annoying. The Live Jasmin or whatever pops are annoying. Its an obnoxious experience similar to that of being skimmed about on TGPs, which is why TGP ratios were always lackluster compared to ..... let's say .... Review Sites.

The surfers that found their way into the Mega tubes via searches for your stuff in particular now have immediate access to free stuff from similar sponsor channels. There is even more free stuff being served up without permission, including your own content that you may or may not have to pay someone to track down and DMCA ( depends on how many Interns you have ).

In the short term, your guaranteed lotsa traffic from a few sources for X-Y amount of revenue.

In the long term, your guaranteed the same amount of traffic for X+Y amount of revenue - provided you make affiliates adhere to a simple set of rules. A) Don't give away tons of free shit or you are fired B) Don't annoy your surfers with certain ads or you are fired C) Don't pummel us with blind traffic or you are fired D) Don't promote us on sites that have poor ratios like TGPs or you are fired.

But you never made affiliates follow any such rules.

FemjoyCash used to insist that affiliates give away only a few FHGs at a time per site. Now FemjoyCash themselves give away tons of Joymii videos on the Tubes.

This is an excellent post - and no, I'm not stalking your threads/posts, this will be my last comment on this subject for awhile. In theory - 450 'little guys' vs. major tubes - is SPOT ON except for one problem: there AREN'T 450 "little guys" anymore.

Many smaller affiliates have left the game - ask Signupdammit, he's got all the facts and figures to support this claim - and those that are left have such limited resources, in both traffic and current income levels, that many are unwilling or afraid to try new sponsers in fear of losing what little they have left to cling to.

THIS post - your excellent point here - is what I was trying to say in shorthand in other threads: show me how to replace the traffic/sales with many "little guys" and I would do it. You did show me a way, and well articulated, but sadly there are very few affiliates left like yourself.

Those estimates are based upon 2007 and 2008, when I was competing against I don't know how many thousands of TGPs, MPGs, CJs, blogs and splogs while Tubes were gaining momentum. Right up until the U.S. economy went into the crapper.

So, if you had rules and affiliates who actually followed rules because you actually enforced your own rules, those numbers could be much more higher.

Unlike whoever was running Met-Art at the time, who told me to just do what ever everyone else was doing and then offered to raise my payout percentage to 60%.

There still are 450 paysite affiliates out there. Probably thousands even. But most are on auto pilot with their paysites. To get them back it will take some big changes and something special beyond what is normal now. Not the standard deal. If the money isn't there then people look for something else. Just as you would in a regular job if your employer cut your pay by 30-50%.

The fear to try other sponsors is more fear of wasting time and effort than anything else and getting discouraged when it turns out like all the others before. Not uploading to tubes and keeping content off tubes is probably a strong plus to many old timers but it might not always be enough alone.

Right now I'm focusing on dating primarily. With some traffic sources I have a uv to free ratio of 1:7. Entirely new methods for me and I find it more encouraging with more potential to scale than the old ways under the new reality. I'd love to be excited about paysites again.

Yes ..... unless new and existing sponsors step forward with programs that actually have guidelines. Guidelines will result in acquiring the best salesman available. When these sponsors are proven to yield more sales from an affiliate base than the sponsors with Tube channels crippling their own affiliate base, the latter will be dumped.

Mega Tube traffic will eventually become more worthless and sponsors with channels and no more affiliates will be forced to follow suit or fold up their tents and perhaps sell their operations for cheap to Manwin.

Interesting thread but are their 450 little guys still out there who can send a significant amount of joins so sponsors will say to no to the tube channel traffic and potential typein sales? Also for the sponsors it's not always about wanting tube sales sometimes just damage control, people going to steal your videos and put them up anyway might as well get a cut from it.

Sure, they are out there. Current affiliate guys. Ex-affiliate guys. There is an endless supply of people looking to supplement their incomes. But you have to give them programs that are worth pushing. There is little point to pushing major programs like FemjoyCash when you are making more sales with other sponsors that don't have Tube channels.

The more sponsors you have worth pushing, the more affiliate guys you get in response.

There used to be enough affiliate guys and now there aren't enough now because .....................................

It just is not possible to simultaneously have a user uploaded mega Tube channel and a prosperous affiliate program. Not ever having administered and enforced any rules and never pruning affiliates with the worst ratios is a recipe for a lackluster sales crew. Easy then to be impressed by sales from mega Tube channels when your affiliate program never reached its full potential.

Anyhoo, the point of this thread was/is to get alternative sponsors. I volunteered my perspective on the overall situation to provide insight as to why, in response to certain comments.

There is still plenty of money out there to be made and plenty of fun to be had in the making of it.
