There are indications, however , that the portal is effectively managed and supervised in Hamburg. When it comes to a process that is still unclear .

But even now threatens Fabian Thylmann possibly new trouble. This time it's not a porn site or to tax questions , but to a nightclub in Cologne - "Playboy Club" at Rheinauhafen .

In August 2012, the club had opened with a pompous party. There were all sorts of celebrities, including former Playmate Pamela Anderson, Cooper Hefner, son of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner, the pop musician Michael Wendler and nude model Micaela Schaefer.

The approximately three million euros expensive establishment in the south of Cologne was considered a prestige object , of which the owner apparently promised millions of revenue.

And probably Fabian Thylmann hoped for the success of the new club scene. He was one of the main investors and to have the club boss Jörn Shepherd million loans granted.

The concept initially sounded promising : Customers could be exclusive to 7000 euro member of the " Playboy Club " and then regularly celebrate on the side of young , busty Playmates . A bit of glamor a la Hugh Heffner in the Rhineland.

After 258 days, however, it was over . In May of this year, announced club chief shepherd, the Cologne " Playboy Club" would exclude lack of money. Only four clients had acquired the exclusive membership to date. Much needed revenue did not materialize.

According to Bild newspaper should have made the " Playboy Club " about 250 000 ? per month in sales to cover the running costs. The monthly rent of the disco was loud IMAGE to 44 000 euros , the staff cost 90 000 euros and for license - fee of ' Playboy USA ' EUR 25 000 are again due. Sums which would at any time with the revenue of the club can be settled .

As a result, many suppliers , landlords and other lenders are sitting on unpaid invoices. The rent arrears amounted , according to the IMAGE to 371 806 euros . In addition to stand still 109 624 euros social security contributions.

Total is the " Playboy Club " the lenders owe 6.5 million euros . Above all, the group of companies of Manwin Fabian Thylmann . The porn business is so loud says a report by the insolvency investigators , not only investors but actually the manager of the " Playboy Club" have been. He is now under investigation for threatening Insolvenzverschleppung . The case against the operators of the " Playboy Club" is scheduled to begin this month.

Your inability to understand something so simple is why I doubt just about everything you say. The answer is in the article.

Somebody wanted to open a Playboy Club. They licensed the name from Playboy US, which is where a lot of Playboy's money comes from these days.

The articles aren't clear, but the guy that licensed the name and was backed by Fabian with loans. Or Fabian was behind it and had a front man.

Either way, Fabian was the money man and it has zero to do with Manwin and Playboy online.

According to Mike South though none of this is possible because Fabian is a nobody and only a Manwin front that probably makes very little money.

The much promoted Playboy Club network TV show was cancelled by NBC after only 3 episodes in 2011, and the Playboy Club at the Palms in Las Vegas closed in 2012, but I guess that didn't mean anything to an astute businessman like Fabian Thylmann.

Look at what Manwin did for Playboy Radio under Fabian Thylmann's stewardship (forced off of Sirius).

There were articles about problems on the TV side of Playboy too (financial issues, as I recall).

That is some pretty heavy duty rent. You need to gross about 8300 euros 7 days a week, just to make ends meet. Playboy is a brand which time has passed, it does'nt mean the same thing to the current generation, as it has to the last one

When my step dad died, mom was going thru his things and found his Playboy Club card. She gave it to me and I framed it. It's in storage now, but getting it out in a couple months with everything else. It's pretty cool.......
