so far i pointed out that their 2700 Euro laptops have a lousy quality - the proof sits right here at my office with a broken screen. Thanks to VNC i can still use it for some tasks.

I have a 4S. The only reason that I can come up with to upgrade to the 5S/C is better camera quality. Not sure that I can justify spending $200 upgrading my phone for a better camera when I can just buy a decent camera for $120.

The only thing I've had to pay for was for the new version of the Mac OS operating which cost me.... wait for it..... $20.00. How much is Windows now? $300? Give me a break.

Don't get me wrong. If your phone or your PC works for you then fantastic, stay where you are. But if you're a PC guy who has never even tried a Mac, who has never owned one, or even dared walk into a store and ask a salesrep a question, your opinion is worth shit. Kindly just STFU.

I've owned PC's all my life and bought my first Mac about 4 years ago. I still have a PC on my desk but it is almost never used now thanks to the 2 x iMac 27's I have. I can easily say that I know how both work, and Apple Haters who have never even owned an Apple product are extremely obvious in their ridiculous rants.

They aren't the fastest computers available. They are usign regulr PC hardware now. I just bought a very nice samsung ultrabook that's lighter then the macbook air, more powerful, and also boots in a few seconds. Alot of the new ultrabooks have comparible screens to the new retina stuff too (not mine unfortunately, didn't wanna dump that much money into a laptop I won't use that often). The fact stands though - you will get FAR more processing power for the same money from a PC then a Mac. Even the build quality...my girl has an asus zenbook. It's made of aluminum, light as fuck and tapers down to 3mm thickness...

It took you 5 minutes because you didn't exactly have a choice of 500 different laptops. You went in knowing you want a macbook air and you came out with a macbook air...

My laptop came with all the drivers and everything installed too - I could have easily done the same there in a few minutes.

You don't need to install windows on new laptops, apple releases updates for their OS too, I can't remember the last time i've seen windows blue screen, and the only reason that windows gets viruses is because it has a larger market share then apple and it's not as profitable making viruses for it. I agree that laptops do come full of all sorts of bloatware that must be uninstalled though. Regarding underpowered hardware - that argument from the Mac side of things has been gone since they switched to Intel cpus. It's basically all the same hardware as is available in a pc. An i5 in a macbook isn't faster then an i5 in a pc. 8gbytes of ram in a macbook is still 8gbytes of ram.

We pay about $100 here for Windows 7. Your $20 Mac OS is all fine and dandy, but what you are saving you paid 20 times over when you bought the hardware. That *exact same* cpu, ram and harddrive are all available for a pc - and you paid more for it.

If you like OSX - power to you. I've used it, and I don't like it. You might argue that OSX is better then Windows - but you cannot argue that "Macs are better then PCs". Macs *ARE* PC's now. I could probably find you an ultrabook that has identical cpu, ram , harddrive and weight - and maybe even screen resolution - to your macbook air at a much lower price. If you were able to install OSX on it (which you can't - because it would hurt apple's bottom line to do so), you'd have a macbook.

I'll also add that I suspect the only reason why MacOSX is "faster" is because it's optimized for one set of hardware. There are a million different PC configurations (various Intel cpus, various AMD cpus, etc) that Windows has to run on, but since apple is the only manufacturer of devices that run on MacOS, everything is optimized specifically for certain hardware. It's a very controlled environment...It's the same situation with iOS vs Android. You have the apple devices with the one specific set of hardware, and you have 1000 different android hardware configurations.

$99 on contract - it will cost a lot more off contract in other contries, and you have lot of sizes, colors and designs to choose from with other brands. So nothing special there. Fingerprint sensor - have been a 'meh' on lots of other devices for years, but I am sure that now it's Apple it is going to get a lot of attention, and Apple will get the credit for this technology. It will not be the first.

Macs aren't the fastest computers. Where can you buy a 16-core Mac today? Link?
They use the same cpu and memory as PCs. Actually you can get even faster memory for PCs, watercool and overclock them more than any Mac in case you are an enthusiast.

Apple don't make the screens. You can buy just as good mobitors for the PC. I recently bought the Samsung SB970D, and I'm sure it is of equal or better quality than one with an apple on it.

In over 10 years I only had to contact Microsoft a few times. It was to reactivate my Windows license key. In same amount of years I have been unlucky to get a faulty hardware two or three times, but with a 2-year garantuee they were easily replaced. No need for some extra money sucking Apple Care when living in EU.

You are so locked-stepped into 1 way of thinking that you complete dismiss achievements. For example all of you seem to have missed that the new Apple iPhone 5C is only $99 and comes in all the colors you might want. The new iPhone 5S comes in Platinum, Grey and Gold. It has Touch-ID (Fingerprint Identity sensor, 64 Bit A7 Chip, LTE, etc. It has 2 microphones (1 in front and 1 behind). Why? The phone "listens" to the sound coming from behind the phone and cancels it out of the front, letting you talk and be heard in noisy environments, plus about a million other features. If you want to talk about computers, holy shit - Apple Macs are far and beyond the best, fastest computers available. The Macbook Air boots from power-off to desktop in 9 seconds! Batteries last for 8 hours. The 2 imacs on my desk NEVER crash, and screen quality and resolution are unparalleled. GET THIS : This past summer I sold my Macbook and wanted a new Macbook air. I walked into the store and walked out with the new machine 5 minutes later. I took it to an outdoor pub, unpacked it and turned it on. FULL BATTERY CHARGE right out of the box. I was online in seconds, and downloaded the tools I wanted such as Skype, CuteFTP, Editors, as well as our own software because we wanted to do a live broadcast from the pub. 9 MINUTES AFTER I UNPACKED THE BOX, I WAS UP AND RUNNING AND BROADCASTING. 9 MINUTES! PC users call Apple Users "hipsters" because deep down they feel excluded from the club when in reality Apple are PC users who have simply taken the chance to buy a product that they discovered to be better. Who the fuck wants to put up with 2 hours of installation, updates, blue screens of death, anti-virus updates, Pop-ups, shitty tech support and endless TSR programs pre-loaded for you that suck every bit of memory you have all while trying to deal with underpowered hardware and completely shitty operating system like Windows? And speaking of support: You can login to Apple.com and fill out a simple form (name, email, phone number) and Apple support CALLS YOU, usually within a few seconds, to help you with your problem. In 4 years I've had to call them only 3 times. The support I had was fast, polite, American / Canadian (non-Indian), and FREE FREE FREE. The only thing I've had to pay for was for the new version of the Mac OS operating which cost me.... wait for it..... $20.00. How much is Windows now? $300? Give me a break. Don't get me wrong. If your phone or your PC works for you then fantastic, stay where you are. But if you're a PC guy who has never even tried a Mac, who has never owned one, or even dared walk into a store and ask a salesrep a question, your opinion is worth shit. Kindly just STFU. I've owned PC's all my life and bought my first Mac about 4 years ago. I still have a PC on my desk but it is almost never used now thanks to the 2 x iMac 27's I have. There are a million different PC configurations (various Intel cpus, various AMD cpus, etc) that Windows has to run on, but since apple is the only manufacturer of devices that run on MacOS, everything is optimized specifically for certain hardware. It's a very controlled environment...It's the same situation with iOS vs Android.
