Wladimir Klitschko vs. Alexander Povetkin now live - anybody watching?

Povetkin hasn't lost a fight so far, this could get interesting

I'll definitely be watching, it's on HBO at 3:30 PM. Povetkin has talent and I like him, but I genuinely thought he lost the fight against Marco Huck. He gassed in the later rounds against Huck, and if Klitschko gets him in the deep water like that he is gonna be in trouble.

That being said there is a TON of sharp betting money coming in on Povetkin, dropping Klitschko from a -600 to a -400 favorite. Those are some really smart bettors that caused the line to drop, so they believe Povetkin has a chance at an upset...

there seems to be a lot of psychological warfare going on as well - like picking Chisora as the one to check on Klitschkos bandaging...

That's a very dumb move on Chisora's part. The Klitschko's already hate his guts, and if he keeps needling them hell will freeze over before he ever gets another title shot. Don't get me wrong, he took a beating from Vitali and I don't think he deserves another shot, but the Klitschko's are smart businessmen and if they think they can make money off a Wladimir/Chisora grudge match they would make the fight if Chisora quits acting like an ass. But as of this point Chisora is the last guy they will look at as an opponent again...

I was wondering why they were fighting in Moscow and not Germany, since Wladimir sells out soccer stadiums in Germany. I just heard Jim Lampley say that some unknown boxing promoter from Moscow put up a $23 million purse bid to hold this fight in Moscow, breaking purse bid records. That would explain all the sharp betting money coming in on Povetkin, because they feel something shady is going on and if Wladimir doesn't get a KO he might get screwed on a decision. Fucking boxing, corrupt as hell...

I've never fought someone with his punching power. Had a fight a few fights ago that might have been up there, though. My chin is pretty solid, however.
