I am 40yrs old, and I thought this trend was over. I haven't had the Bible Thumpers bang on my door since I was a kid. But I just bought a new house in a new neighborhood at the beginning of the year and they seem to come here at least a couple times a month. I posted a "No Soliciting" sign a few months ago, but that didn't stop them.

I think I found a solution though.. A welcome mat with an image of a crucified Jesus print on it.. Then when they knock, I say, "Sure.. I'll talk. Come in. Wipe your feet first" - Oh... what a conundrum!

I switch the pop-up lawn sprinklers to 'manual' and watch'em do the hokey pokey dance down my sidewalk.

But I like the crucified jesus doormat. That's great.

Rob & his wife, & I went to lunch today and saw like 8 of them congregated on their bicycles outside a store right by where I live...we then got into a conversation abut what things we've said, or would say, to make sure they stay the fuck away from our houses...LOL!
