Any cattle experts here?
I heard 100,000 head of cattle died in the South Dakota snow storms. Will this effect the price of beef? Will the dead cattle be processed or is the meat useless now?
I bought some of the ETF COW last year after the droughts, Expecting the price to go up. But there was a stready drop in the price of the ETF. And crops looked good this year so I sold it earlier this year at a lose. Not gonna gamble this time, But interested to see what will happen.

Was just reading about that. Sad story. 100,000 cattle is a lot of meat.

That's smart, invest in products you have no knowledge about, what could go wrong?
