This has nothing to do with Plugrush and probably everything to do with redirecting traffic. Ie. not news ffs.

Someone should fix this thread title.

Plug rush by default redirects your mobile traffic.

I am noticing in my webmasters tools that Google has been keeping track of mobile errors big time since oct, 23 or so. And that each site that had their redirect has massive errors logged with a notation that said, if you keep getting these errors we may decide to fuck with you.

Not just a plug rush thing for sure, but being that they redirect mobile by default it is effecting many more than others that don't by default.

I cannot concur. You have settings in your plugrush adzones to turn on or off mobile traffic. If you have it set to off, then why would they direct any to mobile traffic by default?

Unless I am missing something? I have a screen cap .. but I am not allowed to attach images while under 30 posts.

I don't think it's a plugrush problem. None of my sites is affected, using plugrush.....and many webmasters i talked too don't see any changes in their SE traffic. So calm down....

I can see why some may think it could be a plugrush problem. Since so many sites use plugrush. And those that use plugrush know that not all the plugs displayed on your pages 24/7 are all without redirects to shit .. using mobile or not.

Which is why they do provide a report page for such plugs that redirect and uses who the hell knows what to cause such degradation in SE listings.
How often do you check your plugs on your pages to see where they go?

My traffic is just fine too...not a single one of the sites I use their mobile redirect on has suffered any traffic loss whatsoever. There's just a lot of webmaster who freak out if they look at their stats one day and see traffic way down and go off the deep end with assumptions. You're always going to have those days where traffic dives and then you're always going to have those days where traffic goes WAY up...search results and rankings are always changing.

to me it happened only once, and never recovered. I've rebuilt complete site, and approach and it was good. Suddenly, traffic was cut more then half. As I've said, it only happened once, when first panda shit started

Good luck keeping mobile redirection, what you don't understand is that Google is not banning all sites at once, it is happening gradually.

Like I said, I have a clear example of non-English site that had mobile redirection from Plugrush and got de-indexed with this message:

"Cloaking and/or sneaky redirects
Some pages on this site appear to be cloaking (displaying different
content to human users than are shown to search engines) or redirecting
users to a different page than Google saw."

I would not risk my biz over that, once you get banned, there's hardly any chance of getting back where you were before.

I've removed redirection before shit hit me. Is there some special procedure to get back or I can just sit and wait?

Well it is quite normal that there's different things displayed depending of mobile and country/language (includes redirects), every sophisticated web sites do a lot of this stuff.

The issue is not changes in the search engine rankings. The issue is that those of us affected have been COMPLETELY REMOVED from the results due to this manual action related to cloaking, which so far points to mobile redirects. 0 indexed pages is what happened, not being lower in the SERPS.

Nothing there, everything clean. I am not completely deindexed, but traffic drop is huge ,like income also.I would like to know what a fuck is wrong there. Site is manually updated, content hosted on my WP, and have over 1.2 k posts ,handwritten 99%

Last two days. Without any obvieous reason. Only thing I did was to remove plugrush redirection after reading things here. That is all.

When I say Plugrush redirects mobile by default I mean just that. You have to uncheck the mobile option. It is on by default. So there might be a lot of people with PR widgets that have no idea they are even redirecting their mobile traffic. They just know they are making money.

Make your site responsive and all the mobile traffic is yours.
How do you feel when you visit a site and are redirected to some kind of casino site?
Not very user friendly.

To be honest I hate responsive sites. I bought a phone with a 5 inch screen because I enjoy seeing the desktop site.

yes. index page worked, I've checked it but didn't click on posts. never happened. I don't have time to check all pages and WP dead links checker plugin found one page and then I saw what happened. That site is on WP and admin worked when I removed redirectioncode. No reason to check posts

Now that I think of it, I think google might have have another problem with the way plugrush is used by most webmasters. Often the so called widgets are "sneaky" indeed - for example on tube sites they look no different than thumbs of videos but user gets redirected when one clicks on them. This I am certain matches the definition of sneaky redirects 100%.
However I have never used them and still got hit so it has be mobile redirects and/or widgets. There is still no confirmed proof that plugrush is the reason but most of folks whose sites got de-indexed recently have been using it.

Wow it was faster that I expected...

On December 7th, I said this -> https://gfy.com/showpost.php?p=19899868&postcount=126

And see what happened.

In my case small snippet of code still resided on one site and was redirecting even though it was turned off in plugrush panel.
Anyways.
Has anyone have had any comeback from fucking goog about site reconsideration?

I had sites de-indexed that were not using mobile redirects.. So guys, you gotta look for other factors!

Could be...
Skimming traffic to trades?
Skimming traffic for traffic sales?
Lack of content?

Pretty amazing that people still think this is PlugRush related.

Btw the CPM price for mobile with PlugRush has been climbing these last couple of days, pretty sweet

That is actually good as you can see,if more publishers remove mobile redirect(not just on plugrush, other brokers as well)bigger price will be for other publishers

What reason did the manual action show for you in the GWT? Several of us got the cloaking message so it is pretty clear what the reason is. Your sites being deindexed may not be the same as those in this thread. I do realize it is not just plugrush but any mobile traffic redirect as i mentioned earlier and it is a manual action so google cant catch everybody always.

You think redirecting visitors away from a site is not reason enough for google to deindex?

Here's a data point. I've got a 10-year-old blog that's ultra clean, no redirects, popups, automated traffic trades, or anything sleazier than old-fashioned manual link exchanges. Advertising is affiliate links, JuicyAds banners for years, and (starting fairly recently, maybe a year?) one little block of 4 plugs from PlugRush.

Had a surfer notice I was vanished from the index, asked me what was up. I checked, and sure enough, the search for "blog name" that used to return at #1 no longer returns at all in the first 10 pages.

Logged into Webmaster Tools, checked the Manual Actions page. Sure enough, I've got a sitewide "Cloaking and/or Sneaky Redirects" manual action listed. Ouch!

My PlugRush is supposed to have mobile redirects disabled (they've never made any sense to me, why would you piss off a daily repeat visitor you could advertise to yourself for years by sending him forcibly away the first time he gets on the internet on his shiny new smartphone?) so I logged in and checked. Mobile redirects box is unchecked for that adzone, as it should be.

So. I have Plugrush on my site, I never used mobile redirects, I got the sitewide cloaking/sneaky-redirects manual action, and I don't know why. (When I "Fetch as Google" using mobile useragents, everything looks fine.)

Is this enough to point the finger at Plugrush? No. But I gotta be suspicious. I suppose it could be JuicyAds, but I trust Jay quite a bit more than I do the unknown-to-me Plugrush guys. (And no, I never sold my mobile traffic to Juicy, either.)

So, no conclusions. But I'm throwing this data point out for the benefit of anybody else who is trying to figure out the pattern based on accounts in this thread and elsewhere.
