Bitcoin payment script

Is there any? So a surfer can pay with bitcoins. Script adds his account to your passwordfile.
No fees for a third party biller. All the money is yours and chargeback is impossible.

Yeah, people that have bit coins are totally not tech savvy and would have no idea where to get free porn from.

</sarcasm>

Note the lack of press releases from the people that started accepting it months and months ago saying how much they have made.

I think almost everyone knows how to find free porn. Paying with bitcoins is also 100% anonymous. A real advantage. Bitcoins saves the porn industry

Oh, and no taxes.

Especially the kids with bitcoin. Or anyone who knows how to use Google or Bing.

One advantage of bitcoin payments is that you can manage the risk yourself. You can grant access after sufficient time that a double spend is improbable (but not impossible) since you can simply revoke it if the transaction turns out to be invalid.

IOW, the user gets access after 10 seconds rather than an hour.

I saw that MetArt was accepting Bitcoin but when I tested it it didn't appear to be in real time because in comparison to USD which was a $29.99 membership they wanted equivalent of $65 USD if I paid by Bitcoin that was before the latest BTC drop. I'd also be interested to see any Bitcoin gateways on Adult sites if you hear of any others.

Accepting bitcoins is easy, you use bitpay for example, just there is no volume of sales done with bitcoin in adult. There is for drugs and (unlicensed) gambling, where you can't pay with credit card or paypal, so no alternatives.
Could be in 2020-2050 there will be volume of sales also in adult in cryptocurrencies (because more anonymous - really pseudonymous), take a note.

Accepting bitcoins for anonymous reasons is one thing. Maybe for amateurs, or for some guy who operates on his own or does some retail purchases.

But Hiding your identity like you do in your affiliate program is another different thing.

You have an affiliate CAM program, and you hide your name, where you live, who you are. You have everything hidden. I will make sure to warn people to stay away from your practices.

You operate an affiliate program and NOBODY in this industry knows your name. How is that even possible? You have your cam program registered as Dutch Company, and you hide your real name and details. What are you hiding? Who are you? What's your name? What are you trying to hide?...

You have until the last detail setup and configured to hide everything from everyone and be completely anonymous. How is that even possible?

Karma is for sure a bitch.

Just sayin...

1) You are trying to hide that you are venusBlogger with this fake nick, but failed. I have same nickname in GFY since 2003, I never created fake nicks.

2) You not know me, simply because you are not in this industry. Whoever it is in this industry, knows me well.

I am confused, you should be ale to revoke a membership anyways, and who does not give instant access for a membership - payment type is not even relevant in when the customer gets access.

With a credit card purchase you get an instant yes/no as to whether the transaction is allowed.

With Bitcoin, the transaction "request" will move over the network quickly, but it won't be properly secured by multiple confirms until more blocks are found. To reach the recommended number of confirms can take an hour or more.

I guess it's a bit like the old-school check joins - you grant instant access, then revoke it when it comes back as fraudulent in 3 days time...

We don't let them in until it's confirmed, which doesn't take long at all. Users understand there is a slight wait, and have been OK with it so far. The ONLY issue we've had so far is someone joined twice by mistake so we had to refund one transaction.

When it's confirmed, we get a confirmation email from Bitpay and then the account gets activated. They don't get access before the transaction is confirmed.

All the talk of microtransactions over the years and you can't see why bitcoin would be beneficial. Boy you sure are smart!

Why on earth would you really care if a customer got 2 minutes of access to your site then their transaction didn't go through? Seems stupid to potentially irritate paying customers over something that costs you nothing.

1) That's how it works. BTC users understand this. It only takes a couple of minutes for it to be confirmed anyway. As confirmations get faster, so will their access.

2) 2 minutes in a paysite with a 100mbps connection can cost the site owner a lot. Multiply that times an endless sea of guys who will do the same thing ones word gets out, and suddenly those 2 free minutes is quite expensive.

I've read that a double spend attack is really only possible within a very short period of time (literally a handful of seconds) once the transaction hits the network. My original point was that you can grant almost immediate access because it's 99.999999% certain the transaction is valid. Non tangible access to a website is one of the situations where it doesn't matter if one transaction in a million ends up being reversed after an hour.

^ To further add, I mean grant access once the transaction appears in the block chain, not simply when someone clicks on a button on your website to say they have paid. The chances of a transaction that appears in the block chain being invalidated are pretty tiny.

You need to look how what is involved to pull off a double spend. I promise you nobody is trying to steal access to your site with bitcoin. There damn sure aren't a sea of people that would even be capable.
