So I'v been sick as shit for the last 10 days, finally starting to feel better. My neighbor stops by asks if I'm still alive do I need anything while he's at the store. I say thanks, give him $100. Thirty minutes later he's back ? with a $75 dollar bottle of cognac and a bag of Kentucky Fried Chicken.

Not bad actually, lol.

I'd give it a shot but I don't think I could find much to complain about either. Pretty cool neighbor. They're hard to find. Get better.

The cognac is damn good, the chicken I warmed a small amount up in the oven and it's also damn good. lol I think the fucker is onto something.

It actually sounds very much like something my grandma would prescribe, although it would be her own fried chicken (which was killer) and some very cheap brandy, which she enjoyed up till she passed.

I'm currently restoring a bunch of old famiy pictures and putting some in a multi-frame for my Mom's upcoming birthday-

Not strange at all. His g/f has been keeping me alive with periodic drop offs of chicken soup, bottles of orange juice, platters of pre-made fruit from the supermarket, crap like that. I just assumed he wanted to know if I wanted more.

yeah that is the actions of a very cool neighbor, but the wife has been bringing a lot of stuff over for L Pink what seems like an extended period of time. Kind of above and beyond the normal "good neighbor" type behavior. Either way he's lucky to know them

They are only here in the south I think, and there are none near where I live. But I hit one in Orlando last April when I was there for Florida Drupal Camp, their beans and rice is a lot better than popeyes and they also serve breakfast all day long.
