Screen Resolution Help!

I have 24 inch TV LED Monitor. Yet, it's like hell. I don't like the interface and etc. My screen resolution is: 1280x768. I can see that there is an option to make it to 1920x1080 my video card is GTX 650 nVidia. How can I enhance this?

If you monitor (TV) not support bigger resolution, there is nothing you can do about that.

First of all, make sure you're using HDMI/DVI and not VGA. (If it's old and only has VGA, forget what I said)

Then go in your computer's display settings and see what sizes are available. Choose the highest one and go down from there until one works.. (Choosing your correct aspect ratio, of course.)

Currently using VGA but possible for HDMI since I have ports on it. I will buy a new port today immediately.

Check your TV specs before buying anything new, too.
