Do Cookies Pass Through iFrames?

If one opens new sites in iFrames do cookies still work?

I assumed they did but then spotted a site claiming that it didn't work for IE (back in 2008)

http://adamyoung.net/IE-Blocking-iFrame-Cookies

Thanks in advance

Yes, as far as I know the do. Even 1x1 iframe passes cookie. That is called cookie stuffing.

Yes and no.

Many browsers can be set not to allow 3rd party cookies.

Ad blocking and Anonymizing browser ad-ons will block 3rd party cookies.

30% or more of the cookies sent from an iframe would be blocked maybe ...
