DEA raid house because she bought a 16 ounce bottle of organic Fertilizer

Angela Kirking never thought shopping for garden supplies would lead to agents from the Drug Enforcement Administration waking her up with guns drawn, but that's what happened last October.

"I bought a bottle of organic fertilizer, a 16-ounce bottle," said Kirking, a 46-year-old face-paint artist. "Three weeks later I was raided by DEA."

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/0...usaolp00000592

So what's with the federal agents in this country, are there so fucking many of them, they have to go after people that buy fertilizer?

Reminds me of the cops that sit outside of the bars pulling over all that leave thinking they can get one out of 10 they pull over for something. I told a cop a few months ago to fuck off , that I don't like being targeted by the police and that them targeting anyone that's in a bar as illegal and wrote down his name, he didn't like it and continued to give me a drunk test, I told him to take me to the police station for a test. He said I was pulled over for failure to use a turn signal leaving an alley? Fuck, no one was there when I was there, not going to signal air!

He let me go, I guess I was trouble than I was worth, If I feel I can't drive, I don't. I live half a block from my favorite bar. I'll walk............

Tired of the police state in this country and the abuse of the government

Grow Tomatoes Get Raided

This Kansas City family made the mistake of going to a hydroponic store.

http://www.kctv5.com/story/23951053/...for-swat-style

Police refuse to release any evidence they have for justification of the raid.

http://www.kansascity.com/2013/05/03...aid-based.html

http://www.theolathenews.com/2013/04...droponics.html

Since the store is in Missouri and they live in Kansas, it took a lot of city/state/fed agencies to do this.

But his administration decided to revive the "War On Drugs" and pumped money into the DEA and started giving them broader powers.

And as you know, once the ball starts rolling with a Federal agency in Washington D.C., it becomes a bureaucracy.
Now the country can't live without it (if you believe the govt.)

And it is HUGE and pretty much "all-powerful".

Hard to believe that we never needed it before...kind of like the goddamned TSA.

When Reagan came into office - the drug problem was getting worse, starting from Florida and spiraling outward until finally the entire nations inner cities turned into war zones as the result of the popularity of cocaine followed by the very rapid proliferation of crack cocaine and unprecedented gang violence

Pretending this didn't happen is akin to Holocaust denial

I lived in Miami in the 1980's.

Reagan had the CIA selling cocaine to fund the contras.

The "war on drugs" is a war against freedom and our own citizens. The federal govt. shouldn't be telling you what you can or can't do on a Friday night when you want to get high.

It shouldn't be able to tell you that you can't grow or smoke a plant.

It should stay the fuck out of our personal lives and stop creating problems.

And the only reason that there is drug gang violence is because the govt. makes it illegal and makes selling it illegally incredibly profitable.

Ever hear of "Prohibition" and the rise of the mafia gang wars and horrible, horrible violence and bloodshed? It's the same thing. The govt. is CAUSING the problem.

Yeah, you're right, Reagan started the war on drugs and it failed beyond belief.

Funny how marijuana is more of a state thing now and the feds are doing this.

Just don't see why they need to point guns at her?

Is the DEA going thru everyone's trash looking for drugs of those that buy lawn products?

Robbie, I don't disagree with you about pot. I don't personally see any reason for it to be illegal. However, the "war on drugs" was largely to deal with the crack cocaine epidemic and the massive onslaught of inner city violence that came with.

Yes but now we find out that the CIA was in on that drug trade during Regan's terms.

I agree with you "morally" about "crack cocaine". Because it ISN'T "cocaine". It's a bunch of toxic chemicals cooked up (just like "crank" is too).

I personally don't want anything to do with those kinds of things.

But...I'm not one to judge other people. And I don't think the govt. should have the power to judge them either.

As for "real" cocaine...it's a plant. People have been using it as an "upper" in one form or another for thousands of years.
I was down in Peru...and the poor people there chew the leaves.

But getting back to "crack cocaine"...I do agree it's horrible for people.
But the govt. making it "illegal" and then having all these gangs form and people killing each other..it's just insanity.

I know that we've been fed a story by the govt. and the media for all of our lives that IF these drugs were "legal" then we'd suddenly have crime everywhere as everyone would be a junky and stealing and killing for money to get their "fix".

But I guess we will never know will we? Conveniently, the govt. has a huge bureaucracy and ARMY of police that constitute the feeding system for a multi-billion dollar prison industry.

There's just no money in making drugs legal. There's just no money in freedom.

I think it's important to make a distinction between hormones that were schedule 3'd, weed etc and things like heroin or meth or crack which have a direct impact on everyone - whether it's innocent kids being shot in drive bys, the crime that comes with addiction, the crime that comes with supplying the addicted etc. weed doesn't really affect anyone other than Doritos and PapaJ ohns. But meth as am example, destroys people, communities, causes crime, violence etc etc.

You may also remember Reagan's initial speech (I think) where they held a press conference and showed all the drugs and weapons confiscated from the park across from the White House. In fact, Washington DC at the time... our own nations capital, was one of the most dangerous cities on the planet.

Because the media conditions us to.

Just watch local news in any town in the U.S.

When the cops shoot and kill unarmed citizens...the media will report it. No bells and whistles. And usually not much follow up or investigation.

But when a cop is killed in the line of duty?
OMG! He's suddenly a HUGE HERO. And there are memorials and long stories on the news with plenty of follow up and then his funeral is covered with great fanfare.

Now the unarmed citizens that are shot and killed?
They are always "bad". And we sure as hell don't see their funerals.

The govt. has got us all conditioned to bow down to authority without question. They start as soon as we are in first grade. And by the time a person graduates high school...they accept that cops have absolute power and that it's "okay" to be searched and ordered about like a dog.

I'm just old enough to remember that it wasn't always like that.

Our parents and grandparents wouldn't have stood for the way cops treat people.
My grandad would have took his rifle and shot the first cop that would have EVER tried to "frisk" my grandmother.

The cops and authorities have no respect for any of us anymore. They don't have to.
The "War On Drugs" has given them absolute power over us.

And if you even dare ask:"What did I do?"
You'll get told to shut up. And if you push it? You'll be in cuffs.

It's outrageous to me.

So you only use your signals when you feel like you might need to? Failure to signal is failure to signal whether there's anyone there or not. The cop was obviously there.

And the government's power has spread to the "War on Terrorism". US citizens' personal rights are getting trampled by the government in order to protect the country from terrorism, whether they're real threats or not.

He was not in plain view and according to the law, if no one is there, you don't have to signal.

Not with that tiny amount of fertilizer. You have to have massive amounts to make a bomb.

Oh, is that what you were trying to stay, maybe if you read more of my posts in this thread you would know that you don't have to signal when no one is there in California.

How does it feel to be an "ignorant shit for brains"

You can continue to post about this if you like, but I'm right and you are IGNORANT

16 oz are a lot less than a liter. So not very much.

By the small size of this, it was clearly harassment to go thru her trash as she could have been using it for growing carrots

So now you can see how ridiculous it is to have the DEA go thru her trash. Then point guns at her!

The motorcycle cops park across the street in a big lots parking lot. They watch the bar and they can get to you pretty fast, being a motorcyclist, you know that. When I came to the end of the alley, I looked both ways and behind me, no one was there. He just saw me from a distance and got to me pretty fast, before the first stop sign on that back street.

I'm a good driver, it was in my pickup and after 178k miles I have put on it, it doesn't have any dents in bigger than a ding. Still has the original paint. Driving is LA, that's a sign of a good driver. I pay attention...

For the record, the cop told me that you have to signal when you make a turn, he never said anything about there being anyone near me. He was an asshole and I called him on it. More people need to do that....

Ok, wasn't drunk, though I'm getting a good buzz on now!

This is my favorite watering hole because I can walk home from it and the Thai girls are pretty sexy bartenders.

Just use signals all the time. So easy. Some morons don't use them on highways on 60mph.
