In porn do darker backgrounds make more money than lighter backgrounds?

in mainstream sites with lighter backgrounds are more successful. but what about porn?
Does it matter? Im very curious about what colors mean for customers buying porn

I look at Super successful sites like blacksonblondes and that has a dark bg, and then I look at twistys which is bright white.

I have a few black background cams sites and a few light colored cam sites. The black sites make more money by 12%

The color scheme should be enjoyable and user-friendly, and sales depend on the site content, IMHO

The use of different colors evokes different thoughts and emotion, and sets the mood, which in turn serves as a additional trigger for consumers when the impulse sets in to possible purchase. Make sense?

Same topic, but from a slightly different angle...

Back in about 2002 we would have a lot of 'Generic' style sites (Cookie Cutters) and as there was not an easy method to split test, like today we would make some light and some dark - It didnt seem to matter that much.

HOWEVER...

Sites that deliberately used the exact colours of 'familiar' objects, such as red white and gold (Marlboro Cigarettes) or say the exact same blue combo with white as a Pepsi Cola can...

Didnt create more sales, but did get more rebills...

Possibly from subconsciously creating a trusting familiar feel, even though it wasn't obvious what we were doing...

Dunno if it would still work today though.

We run several tests and atm the bright background works out best for us on www.ClubSeventeen.com.

It varies a lot per niche though so just test it yourself.
