UK University Debates ?Was 9/11 An Inside Job??

http://www.ae911truth.org/en/news-se...nside-job.html

"This was only the second formal debate about 9/11 conducted at a University in the UK. Arguing in support of the official story of 9/11 was University of Kent playwright and law student Edward Shambrook. Arguing that 9/11 had some element of inside support was Associate Professor Niels Harrit and Ian Henshall. Professor Harrit is a former Professor of Chemistry at Copenhagen University and has been one of the leading scientists working on the evidence for controlled demolition of the World Trade Center towers. He was a member of the team of scientists that discovered traces of thermite throughout the dust from the collapsed towers and had this published in a peer reviewed journal of chemistry. Ian Henshall is the UK's leading author on the evidence contradicting the official story of 9/11 and is the founder of the UK-based group 'Reinvestigate911.'"

People who say the Earth is just fine are dumbshits, if 911 wasn't a set up, its the first time America has gone to war since ww2 on something that's not a false premiss, and I seriously doubt it.

Anyone who thinks the World Trade Center was brought down with controlled demotion has made up their own rules about controlled demolition. They need to read up on how it works, and that WTC has 10 times the size of any recorded CD.

They can theorize all they want about WTC being brought down by explosives, but they never talk about HOW the fuck hundreds of CD workers could wire up two massive, busy Manhattan buildings and not only be unobstructed from their task(with all of their drilling equipment, trucks, wiring, etc) but also never blow the whistle on it. They're ridiculous morons, and should be ashamed for calling themselves educators.

Yep.

I dont think it was a CD. But I do believe the Government Knew the attack was being planned and allowed it to happen. I dont believe they thought it would be as bad as it was though.

You know what i mean.

http://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/sotc/global/2012/13#gtemp

From 2012. Funny how since 1880 generally the last 10 years have been the warmest. But hey, must be a coincidence right.

Here we didn't even have snow this winter, which is normally common. I'm far from an environmentalist, hell i like the warmer weather and hate snow, but you can't deny the climate is clearly changing.

Whether it's connected to our pollution I don't know, but there sure is a parallel, then again i'm no scientist. The chart is pretty self explanatory to draw some conclusions though.

it's easy to imagine that it was an inside job to give a reason to invade places, but contrarily - its also hard to imagine anyone smart enough in the USA to plan that out!

we can't even make a health care website that works!

These guys must be crazy. Everyone knows there is no debate about that event. Anyone debating is a crazy lunatic.
Obviously everyone knows about controlled demolition as well. There is only one way to do it, the exacting method laid out by the insurance company covering the event. A very exacting and precise tedious setup. There is absolutely no other way to do something like that.

Maybe debates are different in the states, here, people are asked to take opposing sides and then argue that side, whether they believe it or not.

It's like a defence lawyer arguing for the freedom of a man they know is guilty.

It's called debating. However, one side of the debate is seriously believed in by a small group of nut cases who honestly think this was an inside job.

There is zero proof of this.

Yes, we all know that, but lots of people in this thread are calling the debaters idiots, but the truth is probably neither "believed" in what they were saying. It's just an academic exercise.

But meanwhile, the "settled science" of anthropomorphic climate change can't get ANY of their computer models to agree with reality....

And meanwhile, in the last 15,000 years, this is not the warmest time...

dear child, I've been on this planet for 50 years. I've seen cold years, warm years and average years. There has been NO change during my lifetime. If you've noticed it getting warmer at YOUR drive thru, your idiot 20 something timeline is too short.
I'd post the icecap pic growing exponentially from last year but you'd simply come up with some story of how meaningless a growing icecap is. To you halfwits, only a shrinking icecap has meaning.

my word.

i would never expect to see the two of you as some sort of wacked out conspiracy theorists

so the global plot to fool the world about global warming is HOW large?

scientists and engineers etc.. makes me think all the other conspiracy theorists might be on to something.

just think.. if we could be fooled by something as big as 'the worlds climate is changing, and we're the cause'

what else can we be fooled by

search for biased points of view and you get them, who says your chart is reality? Congrats on finding out how the internet works. We can talk sources, semantics like how do you explain the co2 output which is parallel to the change, etc.

Humans even walk with mouth caps on in china, and you think it doesn't have any effect on the world?
Smokers dont get cancer for nothing, the earth atmosphere isn't the exception in nature that can't get affected. Pretty logical.

with climate change they mean climate extremes, your view is black and white. But keep believing pollution doesn't have any effect on earth. Maybe introduce lead gasoline again, open sewers, radium paint because it glows so nice, dumping toxic waste and high altitude nuclear bomb testing. It doesn't have any effect on the earth according to you, and the people who died of cancer, diseases, radiation poisoning where teeth fall out and eventually death, and lead poisining, is just a coincidence and need to stop whining.

Dear child, here amongst the intelligent we fully understand the harm of pollution. We just don't believe climate change was started or will be stopped by man. Considering the wide swings in climate over the lifetime of the earth, science is on my side.
As you mature, you'll hopefully get a better grasp on reality and not put so much faith in people who are paid to reach a specific conclusion.

To be fair, that could possibly sum up just about everyone who has ever published an official opinion. None of us actually know who has been paid to say what on either side of the fence. We can only agree with the opinion that makes the most sense to us, even though none of us are properly educated in that area. It's all gut feelings and what we believe to be common sense as it is relevant to us and what we choose to believe in.

My stance is, I don't know. I also don't believe scientists really know either. They can speculate with the data they have at the moment, but in 100 - 200 years they may come to find out they were totally wrong about this or that, or not. Either way, it's out of my control so I choose not to worry about it.

It's funny how there's people in here who think they know more than thousands of scientists. Some of you are functioning retards at best.

Yup. So do nothing to slow it down or reverse it. Ignore the science and the problem will go away. Everything is fine. Right?

I'd post the icecap pic growing exponentially from last year but you'd simply come up with some story of how meaningless a growing icecap is. To you halfwits, only a shrinking icecap has meaning.
No you're making a mistake. You are assuming that all ice is the same, but this is wrong. There's arctic ice, sea ice, etc. Greenland ice is warmer than antarctic ice. Global warming could produce serious melting in Greenland while having less of an effect in the Antarctic. http://earthobservatory.nasa.gov/Fea...polar_ice2.php

no mistake. looks like greenland is safe, despite what you've been told.

Dear Old Man. Your beliefs are stuck in the 50's, and your inability to understand basic science 101 must be due to the onset of Alzheimers (We're sorry! We'll miss you! Are you still there?). We young people aren't happy to sit on our hands and do nothing like you, grandpa. We think our kids (and their kids) would appreciate it if we left the planet in a better place than we found it. We're not eating the mush spoon-fed to us from big oil like you. The air and water is polluted with man-made chemicals which can be easily tested for and proven. The evidence of the distraction it is causing is visible everywhere you look.

Peace.

and antartica:

Antarctic sea ice set another record this past week, with the most amount of ice ever recorded on day 256 of the calendar year (September 12 of this leap year).

the data is there for those that choose to look. why so many choose not to is a big part of the world's problem.

Let's see.

My info came from NASA, and I linked to it in my post.

Your image and your argument is coming from Dailymail. http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2013/...82_640x365.jpg

But besides that, the DailyMail's description of the image you posted leaves out alot. Ice sheets grow and shrink as the seasons change. What is different and what is significant, is the amount of time each year that the water remains frozen.

Anyway, never mind. There are scientists doing real study and real work on this. If you're going to choose to believe an industry that has an interest in selling pollution-rich energy to you instead of scientists telling you to seek alternatives, then there's nothing much anyone can do for you. Remember your decision the next time temperatures hit new record highs, or you see yet another kid with an inhaler, or both.

dear child, here amongst the intelligent, we understand that we've had a pollution problem. Here in the US, we've cleaned up the environment pretty well since the 70s. What the intelligent don't do is confuse chemical pollution with the false idea of CO2 pollution.
children often run around half cocked and uniformed demanding SOMETHING be done. Hell, some children go out and buy an electric car, imagining that they're somehow better for the environment than a modern gasoline driven vehicle. These kids are clueless but it doesn't stop them from embarrassing themselves in front of adults who know better.

Peace.

here's NASA's same take on polar ice for the slow kids:
http://www.nasa.gov/content/goddard/.../#.U3yzPhYsr8s

"""This year's sea ice extent is substantially higher than last year's record low minimum. On Sept.16, 2012""""

looks like you posted proof of extreme climate change, which is the original definition before media dumbed it down to 'global warming'.

Smokers dont get cancer for nothing, the earth atmosphere isn't the exception in nature that can't get affected. Pretty logical.
they are only parallel if you are high... are you high?

I believe government is hiding something about attack. This makes some people believe they(people with real power) participated.
