How many programming hours for a CCBill integration?

Roughly how long does it take for a good programmer to do a CCBill integration having never done one before? For a new site, new customer db.

It's very tough to say because it all depends on the site. If it's a simple /members/ directory then ccbill does the install for you. If it's a custom script that you are upgrading users on or create users on then the postback script needs to be adapted to that script. Anywhere from 5 minutes to a couple of days if it's a very complex system that has to track all the sales on your script's end.

I believe that most CC processors only do basic setup/configuration (user database in a htpasswd file). Custom integration with ccbill (JPost) is really easy and it shouldn't take long becase you just need to implement 4 functions (addUser(), removeUser(), updateUser(), userExists).

If you need a secure authentication script you might be interested in SiteDefensor (installation and integration with ccbill is included in price).
